What are the disadvantages of buying grey import from Panomoz?
Interesting comments on Panamoz, as I previously tried to call them several times and never answered with a strange answerphone... So wrote them off complete.. might need to revisit based on the positive comments
No, for warranty you send it back to Dundee Panamoz are also grey imports, but I agree they are excellent and I bought my R5 and lenses from there
Another vote for Panamoz here - I've spent ~ £20,000 in the last two years with them, superb customer service and if buying more than one item they will try and better the price (you need to ask them before purchase). I've never had any custom charges and had one lens calibrated locally which they paid for. Don't be scared of the grey market, just do your homework.
Great price and lowest I’ve seen for a genuine UK retailer, obviously grey imports are cheaper for those that want to take the risk and additional hassle should things go wrong. Heat from me.

I Have one of these, Cracking camera, You can pul a Godox Flash transmitter on the hotshoe for extra versatility. Also one of the best cameras that you're allowed to take into gigs (Anyone remember gigs?)
That sounds like my marriage
we had this with a computer from work the bar stewards sent it back and it did not work anymore
Stupidly, I sold it. I used it for a couple of weeks or so and loved the images it produced. Video was decent too. To my eyes, the lens produces something rather special. I had a few too many cameras at that time, so sold it thinking I wanted to be able to change lenses. With hindsight, I should have kept it and sold the rest.
Its a really good camera. A lot of manual adjustment available as physical buttons. The one down side is the app. It is useless and I don't think Panasonic plan to do anything about it.

Like you, this is my first tripod, and I thought it was a good deal when compared to the RRP of this product and equivalent brands that sit just below the professional market. I tend to avoid some of the cheap Chinese brands after being bitten a couple of times on Amazon - but this is purely personal preference.
Seems a lot for a tripod
I bought this. First ever tripod, and I'm no professional, but it does the job and seems to be less gimmicky than the product here? I checked this one out and they sell feet for £35. Looks like another manufacturer buying into the Apple ecosystem. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01N6JCW8F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Feel lucky “Tripod” do you want to make my day “Tripod” yep doesn’t have the same ring as when Dirty Harry says it...

I didn't need the kit lens so got the body-only. Only 12 mths warranty. Still a very good price for me.
Found it. Looks like it’s £440 now. Not allowed to post link as merchant is banned ok HUKD
Seems a good price, did it come with a lens and 3 year Panasonic warranty? Do you have a link?
I got a G85 as a grey import new from eglobal for £270 about a month ago as it was hard to resist. It's currently closer to £290. I'm very pleased with it. The G85 is the same camera, but in my case, for the far eastern market.
That makes sense. Thank you. My next investment.
