Woburn is good, and Whipsnade is good but that's not really a safari park. I personly wasn't impressed by the drive-thru at Longleat but overall it is a very good attraction and well worth a visit. For anyone considering visiting Knowsley, don't bother, just vist the largest and best zoo in England, Chester Zoo (its not far from Knowsley).

I have passes for the year and to be honest they work out a lot cheaper if you like the park you also get discount off wristbands and food but I don't buy there food or pop its over priced.it's not the best park I agree but the year passes are worth the money if you have kids

Comment Longleat

apart from this can anyone recommend a good or decent safari park to visit in the uk

Went to Knowsley last week. What a poor attempt at a Safari Park. Half the animals were to far to see properly. The gift shop was closed. the bird show had 6people watching...

This awesome! today i just went there! fantastic trip!!! bravo! good info!

great day out. thanks !

If there are 2 adults going in one car they will get in free with voucher. You'll need to pay for children over aged 3. I believe its £8.99 for children. Don't forget the amusements are now closed for Winter, and you need to be there before 2pm.

DS birthday is on Sunday - just have to convince OH that we can fit this in too with everything else already planned.....

Yes. Right click on the image a1355 has posted above. Select 'save picture as'. Make sure you know what its default name is and where its saved. You should then be able to print your saved document. If you still can't work it out then PM your email address and I can email it to you

it does look like only one one voucher per car is this correct ?

They do with Tesco vouchers and I'd be surprised if they don't with these. Will be interesting to see.

I was just coming on to add this information. We have been to WMSP every year for past few years - and I can thoroughly recommend it. Also as posted above, normally, with every ticket purchased you automatically get a free return visit.... so extra good value. I just am not sure whether they would offer this if you are already getting it on BOGOF....? Anyway, WMSP - brilliant day out. If possible avoid weekends and bankholidays as it can get very busy - but still an great place. When we have been, the safari round can take anything from 40 mins to 2 hours depending on the amount of people going around, plus there are sections you can miss out. If it is steaming hot it can become unbearable in the car as certain sections (like around the lions and wolves) you have to have the windows wound fully up..... sensible, but uncomfortable if you are stuck in these areas for any length of time due to being very busy. First time we went our first safari took a couple of hours to go around. We then went in the rest of the park/zoo area. Later went back for another trip around the safari, which because it was much less busy, was much quicker and more enjoyable as we could stop and move at our leisure. Ended up going around about another 3 times that afternoon, as they were open late and crowds had cleared. Brilliant time and family really enjoyed this. Also in Park/zoo, check out the times of daily activities - such as pet encounter, reptile encounter and feeding Hippos. Not exactly on the same scale as Sea World etc, but kids still love it.... as did I !

They might not give that offer on the buy 1 get 1 free voucher though....

Another good thing about this place is you get a ticket to come back and visit again for free. When we went a couple of weeks ago the free ticket just said the number of people and the car reg section was left blank.
