I assume because it's portable it runs off gas bottles? Any ideas on what size? Practical and good looking back up when the central heating inevitably gives up on Christmas day.

Yes, as nicojo correctly says, it comes with 2 upright steel poles but there is no divide in the bedroom. Its really is a great tent for the money. Very spacious.

I also wanted to purchase a footprint groundsheet as the groundsheet with the tent is sewn in. Couldn't find one for the Aspen 500 but after a bit of homework, I found that the Vango Icarus 500 is a very similar tent covering the same ground area. Ordered it from BestBuys @ £14.99 plus £6.99 next day delivery. It fits a treat! All in all, very happy with my first camping purchase. :)

I also saw this in Costco, it looks pretty tough, thick canvas that would protect the air chambers.
