This deal might get hotter if the OP corrected the spelling of 'Makita' in the title
The ego stuff looks really interesting. Never heard of them before. I need a brush cutter and like the idea of heavy duty battery power. The batteries are very expensive though.... Looks like nice kit though. Shame about the price, might have to stick with has Stihl for now.
Inflated RRP but this is still a good deal. I ordered one to use to sort out my half acre of moss, grass, brambles etc. and it’s really good. Low power setting doesn’t even cut grass but medium does grass ok and high goes through brambles. With 2 4ah batteries on high you get about 35 minutes use. I’ve certainly been impressed and recommend itbut I’d factor in getting 4 batteries and a double charger as 35 minutes doesn’t cover a huge area.
Hot, just for the name! 😁 (y) 🏼
Makita is always decent, but from being in the trade, if you want guaranteed power and quality value, look into EGO power plus and you won't have to look out for a sale which is compared to an inflated rrp

MAKITA UH522DZ 18v G Series 52cm Hedge Trimmer w/ 18v battery & charger £95.98 @ worldofpower.co.uk£95.98
This looks to be around £100 online for the body-only (ie batteries not included). The body-only version is £60 on WorldOfPower (+£5.99 delivery), but for the extra £30 you get a b… Read more
I've got the Stihl bettery hedge trimmer, and it easily matches their smaller petrol cutters... not many people would get a larger petrol model for domestic use. Also, the battery lasts longer than my arms, and charges to full in 30-60 minutes.
For those after something cheaper I've found this to be great for simple hedge and bush cutting rather than thick branches VonHaus 20V Max. Cordless Hedge Trimmer on Amazon £58 delivered. Here I have had mine for 18 months and well happy.
Correct, this is the G-series which my dad has the drill, impact driver and jigsaw. This will be a nice addition to the collection
Not LXT so won't take standard newer style Makita batteries.

World of power offer a price match policy, and they stock the 57cm. I've just used it to buy the package deal in with the cover and tools included. Some may think I'm an idiot for spending that sort of money on a barbecue but I've already spent a comparable amount over the years on pieces of junk that end up on the tip after a single season and I fully intend to see that 10 year warranty through to the death. Born to grill!
That's the cheapest I've found so far for the 57cm also...I've read on other threads about getting go outdoors to price match, but I don't think they do the 57cm one touch???
http://www.partridgeshadleigh.co.uk/outdoor-life/barbecues/charcoal-barbecues/weber-one-touch-original-57cm-black-kettle-barbecue-1341504/0077924004070?cPath=543 I would post it but I don't think it'll go down all that well.
Give them there due, for a 47cm one touch it is the CHEAPEST around! Therefore no need for the cold votes. I'm now trying to find a 57cm one touch as it is a lot more adaptable and more accessories can be used with it!
Have to agree with chocci. This would be a good deal if it was for the 57cm One Touch, but as it's the 47cm then you might as well just buy the compact.

BBQ OUTDOORCHEF City Gas Tri Pod 42cm Gas Kettle BBQ £69.99 @ World of Power£69.99
Thanks OP for the deal. I got Go-Outdoors to confirm a price match online. Went to the local store, which their online stock checker said had two still in stock, but found only a display model, the other was reserved for a customer apparently. So the very nice assistant spoke to his manager and let us have the display model for £40 - result! Very pleased - can't wait to try it out :)
Great deal - picked up mine today - no problems with the price match....
Oops sorry about that! Lets hope and pray for good weather this weekend, went to Costco last night to stock up on the meat!
Simple! It would have cost me more in time & petrol to go back to Go Outdoors to purchase a chimney! I didn't even know about them until you mentioned it!....... So it's your fault, that I have spent yet another £15:00 on something I didn't know I needed!!!

For the record, i cant post a certain wowbbq deal here on a smokey joe as they are "not as established" as the mods would like despite hundreds of independent reviews and one of the leading weber authorised resllers in the UK
Hi P1. Yes i am :-) btw all weber accessories have a two year warranty cheers
That’s good to know as I did order my BBQ from them. All the other bits I just ordered from WoP are hopefully unlikely to need a warranty claim! As for the griddle – call me OCD but I like things neat & tidy and its another gadget at the end of the day. Are you the same Sunil that follows most of WoW BBQ's posts on FB?
yes i have also found world of power cheaper in some instances but anything expensive re weber i get from wow as they will pricematch and when i have had any warranty issues they have a very very good relationship with Weber UK and hence the outcome :-) Why not just use a small cast iron griddle pan on the 320? cheers
Was just looking for a Weber Griddle for my 2013 Spirit Original E320 BBQ (so I can do a full english on my BBQ also hehe) and WoP were by far the cheapest (even better than WoW BBQ daily deals). In fact they seem to be consistently the cheapest for Weber BBQ accessories. Only prob is you need min spend of £100 for free delivery whereas WoW its only £35.
