Might as well buy from AliExpress or DHGate shipped from Europe for around £100 less

Yeah not.Halfords but worth the extra

You've still somewhat got warranty but it may not be as easy which is some people's reason but really you wanna pay £100 more?

Oh no, oh dear, definitely won't be buying now, I never knew they was illegal
Apologies it came up on Google but turns out after a webchat it's not an offer they have.

Are DHGate trusted? I had thought about using them.

Definitely, I'm surprised many don't know they're pretty big, they're the same owners as AliExpress, Alibaba Group which is one of the richest companies in China

Basically AliExpress is more for average customers whilst DHGate is aimed at more large quantities for businesses and it's popular site to buy replica/fake shoes and designer items

It does depend on seller though

Thanks, isn't there a risk the scooters are fake?

Hmm probably not I'm assuming the seller is trusted if HotUKDeals allows it and wasn't it posted by a staff member?

Yeah, I get that I'm the one who reads T&Cs and messes up the party. But thing is, plenty of folk don't, and end up with a fine and a shredded licence, so...

I find it possible to believe that anyone with a pulse and ears and/or eyes doesn’t know these things are “illegal” and in the same vein knows that the police don’t give 2 ****’s. They can’t stop 2 people a day in London getting stabbed so you think they care about an honest hard working commuter getting to work in an efficient and environmentally friendly way?

I work in old street, and see at least every day one guy getting stopped. The police doesn't give a damn per se, but it's an easy earner and makes their numbers look better.
