Mine have used the Garmin vivofit Jr doesn’t need a phone but they do connect to a tablet.
Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Smart is a good option, is got many features. Hope this video helps. You can also buy different colours straps for it.
If you wanted you can download the Mi Fitness or zepp life app , then update it to the latest software. You can also add new watch faces if you wanted it too.
Edited: I didn't know, there's a newer model , Mi band 8 with brighter and 60Hz refresh rate screen. Also features a new strap, two-piece strap that clips into either side of the pill..
