FRIDGE FREEZER

I though technology was cheaper but my hisense Hisense RB320D4WW1 fridge freeze had since July 17, the fridge is too cold now, I put it on setting 1, gap. Around back and wall etc, I even defrosted it but it going to minus, frozen veg in basket and meat I put to defrost over night taking longer.

Anyone have any ideas, I looking new model which for this one I paid 200, now seem there start with 350, tho lesson learnt next time to get a fully automated defrost one

Is the compressor running (humming) constantly,
rather than expected operation of running for few minutes then being off/silent for 30+mins?

I believe it does turn off, it's quite silent one but my electric usage does show it goes off and on

Duel pump fridge freezer Vs a single pump.

Problem is cheaper fridge freezers fan the air from the freezer side to cool fridge side causing problems. You can watch the skill builder explanation on YouTube (edited)

Oddly enough we've just binned our nearly 5 year old Grundig fridge freezer for exactly the same fault. We got an engineer out to see if he could fix it, he replaced the thermostat and controller board and it made no difference whatsoever. Frozen veg in the crisper drawer, burnt meat on the lower shelf, even frozen beers in the fridge.

We've gone for Liebherr as a replacement, it has separate fridge and freezer controls so we're taking that as a good sign. But they're not cheap.

I use a wireless dual sensor fridge thermometer like this ebay.co.uk/itm…615

Although I paid more like a tenner.

Can set an alarm if the temperature goes out of the desired range. Will work for a few months with better quality LSD rechargeable AA batteries, although they need to warm back up before recharging and until the same batteries had been used in the freezer for a while they didn't last very long in the cold temperatures.
