Gigabit: What mesh system should I keep an eye out for?

Vodafone recently regraded my FTTP to gigabit (cheap retentions deal) and because I'm no longer on their Pro plan, they've capped the 'Super WiFi' booster to 100Mbit.

I mainly just want to get my desktop connected over ethernet without having to run cables - ideally at gig if possible. However most devices in our home still seemed bottlenecked on half-gig wifi.

What mesh system would anyone recommend? Has anyone used theirs with the default Vodafone THG300 hub? Ours doesn't really give us any trouble.
