Don't get confused on the Michelin names/numbers (Although it's easy with Michelin!).
Michelin Pilot Sport 5 is the newer version of Pilot Sport 4.
Pilot Sport 4 S is a totally different specification and still current in most sizes. These will eventually be replaced by Michelin Pilot Sport S 5, but are only currently available in 20"and 21" rim sizes.

How are the 5's vs the PS4's? I've only had 4's before.

I preferred the PS4, but no doubt the ps5 are lasting longer, and wearing evenly. PS4 were grippier for me though, especially in the wet.

I run them on an M240i, with around 370bhp and 500nm torque for reference.

Excellent price but from what I can see this is just supplying the tyres?
How much roughly would fitting and balancing cost?

I do this quite a lot. BMW charge me £20 a tyre, but a local place does it for £10-15 iirc.

I’ve started using Hometyre now though.

Good deal, historically paid about 130/corner for these and similar, even better with the cashback.

Paid £450 for a full set of these last year. Michelin or blackcircles usually offer some sorta discount or gift card but it still works out to be around £450 afterwards

£15/£20 for each corner to put on isn't it? Can't remember as only ever been to Costco for new tyres.

Get them fitted is where the price gets added on quickly. i got quoted between £20-30 a corner because i not brought them from fitters and the need to get rid of you old tyres at cost. Some place's will not even do the fitting!!!
Last time i got mine though black-circles and was fitted by ATS but had to book.

Can you get adaptors that fit to the valves on these to make them like the push on connectors you get at fuel stations? (edited)
