About this deal

Absolute bargain for any of these in the 70 year anniversary sale. Spec wise, they're great value and much cheaper than anywhere else. No postage fees, as they are over £149.

I've not seen them on offer at this price before and at the moment, they're £500+ new, so there's at least a £200 reduction vs the next best price.

Cort produce some excellent guitars and even if this was around £400, I think you're getting a decent enough deal. Not sure on stock levels, but hopefully there are a fair few of each.

See below for the specs of each one, as there is some variation

Description

Voiced Tone VTH-77 Pickup Set
Besides providing modern high output for today's high-energy music, these new VTH- 77 pickups also clean up nicely to get great classic rock and bluesy tones to cover a wide variety of musical genres and playing styles.

Custom Wired Electronics
The simple yet versatile control layout provides all the sounds the player needs while allowing the player to focus on playing and making music. The 5-way switch is custom-wired to provide glassy and sparkling single-coil sounds in the 2nd and 4th positions as well as the full- bodied and powerful humbucker sounds in the bridge, middle and neck positions.

Roasted Maple Neck & Fretboard
By treating the maple wood in an oxygen-free oven at a high temperature, the wood stabilizes and develops a golden-brownish look for enhanced stability, a big bolder tone, as well as a more smooth vintage look.

Compound Radius Fingerboard (12” - 15.75”)
A deluxe feature for players who like to transition from easy chording on the low register to high-speed soloing and enhanced string-bending on the upper register, the compound radius facilitates easier playability so you can focus on your playing.

Ergo-V Neck Profile
Highly popular among guitar players, the Ergo-V neck shape provides greater comfort at any position across the entire neck for enhanced playability.

Graph Tech® Black TUSQ Nut
Preferred by many guitar makers and players for rich tone and sustain, the TUSQ® is an advanced polymer that's formed under high heat and pressure for uniform density. It's designed to transfer string energy more efficiently, and to make guitars come alive with enhanced harmonics, volume and sustain.

Cort® Staggered Locking Tuners
The locking tuners provide superb tuning stability by eliminating string slippage at the posts while facilitating quick string changes.

I just bought the black one. Now I’ve got the model in violin and black. Wish me luck sneaking this into the house

I bought this about a year ago from guitar guitar for £349 in another hukd deal. I absolutely love it....even cheaper here (edited)

I would highly recommend these guitars I have the first version without the roasted neck and think it holds it's own against many guitars I've played at at least twice if not three times this price. They feel really well made to me. I have the amber violin burst and the top is a work of art in my opinion.
    Good stock pickups.

Oh, that's a strange one! Is your alert set for g290 instead of g920?

The body's made of Sassafras; whatever you play, it's gonna be groooovey...😵‍💫🤤🫠

Just ordered, coming from a Pacifica 112v. Slowly making progress. Thanks for posting, good reviews pushed me to take the plunge... (edited)

I have the violin one of these. Absolutely lovely to play (and look at). I'd never owned a cort before but I think you get a lot for your money with these. And that delicious roasted maple neck, "sends me places"

I'm having an internal battle with myself to not buy another. Real fancy that blue one. I want it. I don't need it. I have one. But I like it. You don't have to buy it. But it's reduced... etc.

This is a great deal and I’d recommend the guitar for its versatility. I didn’t connect with the pickups at all. Will switch out the electronics as well, but then you have a great guitar for a crazy price

I'd wondered what the pickups were like on this; Cort had made quite a fuss about the coils having different wire gauges & turns...harmonically rich etc etc...

This is such a great deal - I'm still holding out for a 300 - but this is amazing

Heat added, because specs, and quality are excellent. But. . . I saw a violin burst one in the flesh in guitar guitar and was really underwhelmed with the finish - way flatter and less contrast than in the photos - but Thomann have a really good return policy, and I may have just been unlucky with the one that was in store.

The most recent version? Corts will be properly consistent but the finish may be slightly different from one issue to another.

Would prob buy one without a tremolo at this price point but seems solid for the price.

Yessss!! Thank you so much whoever posted this. I've been looking at getting this guitar for over a year until most places discontinued them before Christmas.

£299 for this is an absolute STEAL. Almost bought one from eBay for more than double!

I just got a used kx300 in very good condition for £250. Very happy with this Cort guitar. This looks so good too... I wonder how they compare. Seems better in some ways with the locking nuts and compound radius.
