I own this, its not that good tbh, the oberon 5 floor standers I have are decent however.

how come? mines coming today.. i've heard it's more of a speaker for clearer dialogue rather than for more bass. I already have q acoustic 3050i towers and 3060 sub so i don't need the bass.

well first impressions before a proper run in. Compared to the q acoustics, the dali has more clarity. Like if you were to upgrade the tweeters in a car. It's not as bass-y. What i have noticed though is that it's louder than the 3090ci so i've had to reduce the level/distance quite a bit on my denon x3700H. is there a massive difference, probably not, but maybe given time it'll improve. It does make it sound like there is a dedicated centre speaker now whereas the 3090 / towers is more similar sounding but j guess these could just be because they are now different makes of speaker. Are you using full range calibration for your denon 3800h? so you own the £20 app?
