sorted byI have a 5.1 soundbar with separate sub woofer and rear speakers in my living room, it sounds amazing but it cost Β£600 several years ago. I have this one in my kitchen on a 24" tv and the sound is way better than the built in speakers, plus it has a Bluetooth connection for listening to podcasts etc.
This soundbar gets an overall score of 4.2 on Amazon at Β£38 and in my opinion it is well worth the money.
Unless you have no neighbours or really good soundproofing, how many of us can even use our audio producing devices at anywhere near full capacity?. These little things are adequate for many people.
It has Bluetooth, optical and rca connections as well as USB playback.
Can't say it is much improvement over Alexa Echo Dot 3s built in speaker it was supposed to complement.
Probably even worse. Is it expected ?
Some hissing, no bass. Apart from rock and jazz filters on the remote nothing can be done about it ? (edited)
