Each Octoplus member can claim one free day pass for two per season. Subject to availability on a first come, first served basis.The single-use pass allows free admission at participating National Trust properties for up to 2 people (either 2 adults, or 1 adult and 1 child). Adults are those aged 18 or over; children are those aged 5–17 inclusive; under 5s receive free admission. It cannot be used across multiple visits.The pass is single-use and is valid once from the date of claim via the Octopus app for 8 weeks through to the date specified on the Octopus app, excluding bank holidays and bank holiday weekends.Places excluded from the promotion are listed here: nationaltrust.org.uk/guest-pass-exemptions. Passholders should check in advance of travelling as entry can be refused at an excluded venue.Easter egg hunts are available for a small additional fee on the day from the 2nd April to the 18th at properties in England and Wales. Please head to the National Trust website to find out more.The pass does not allow admission to places with reciprocal entry agreements, such as English Heritage (including Stonehenge and Housesteads Fort).The pass is for standard admission only and excludes non-standard admission, group entry, transport, and any paid events.The pass does not include parking at National Trust places, unless the price of parking is included within the standard admission price.Some National Trust properties require booking in advance of the visit date. At these properties, without a booking we cannot guarantee entry. It is important to check the property’s web page at nationaltrust.org.uk when planning a visit to check whether this is the case and to book tickets. To book with the pass:i. Visit the property’s website, click ‘Book a Visit’. ii. Select a free member’s ticket and when asked for your membership number type the unique code shown via the Octopus app (in the format ‘OCTOPXXXXXX’).iii. Complete the transaction and you will receive a confirmation email. If you only select the free members tickets, you will not need to enter your debit/credit card details and you will not be charged. iv. Present both your booking confirmation and the day pass to the National Trust team member on arrival. Entry cannot be guaranteed without a booking confirmation. Free entry cannot be guaranteed without the admission pass.The pass is valid at participating National Trust properties within advertised opening hours. Opening hours may be subject to change at any time and should be checked when planning a visit: nationaltrust.org.ukTo redeem the pass, you must present the free pass, inclusive of the unique barcode and code. This could be via printed material or by showing your pass on your mobile phone. Mobile coverage may be limited at the National Trust property you choose to visit, so please download to your device, or print the pass.Passholders who cannot present the pass may be charged the full admission price.The pass cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and has no cash value. It cannot be redeemed against the cost of National Trust membership.The pass is not for resale and is non-transferable. The National Trust reserve the right to refuse use of the pass and the full admission price may be charged.Only one pass per household will be permitted (maximum two visitors).
