Hi. Any Nintendo Switch's ordered today aren't guaranteed to be fulfilled on release day. We don't have a guaranteed date for the current wave of order

...have a look here

cancelled my preorder Zelda dlc was last straw
They've not yet had any of the neon SKU actually available for order - that's what will be becoming available soon.
By being less than RRP and among the lowest-cost options for buying these, perhaps?
Thanks for your opinion, it really changes everything. Nintendo have just announced they will be cancelling the Switch because of your opinion. Please do tell when there's a console releasing you approve of, we are all waiting with bated breath.
Probably why they created a hybrid device......A lot of parents with younger children I've spoken to like the idea of not having to buy two devices for home and away (or just don't want their kids playing on that £500 ipad)
Would never have Nintendo as my one and only console but as a secondary gaming device I've always found their hardware essential, to many fantastic exclusives to miss out on.
You obviously care enough to enter a thread about a product you have no interest in and berate people for spending money on products they obviously like and enjoy.

Gamecube is probably my favourite console
No mention of it being day 1 stock though, which is why i would be wary of cancelling any current orders with them just to get this deal.
Just look at other 'deals' for the switch, plenty of disappointment expressed in them
I pre ordered 2 one from game and one from Amazon to make sure I got one. Was going to keep them both and sell 1 to help make mine cheaper but with loads of pre orders still not sure if I should just cancel the extra.
My thoughts exactly! Good luck to those who preordered and who sign up but I still see this as a gigantic red flag warning and just an exercise in boosting their mail list.
They couldn't, they lost out big time and have been trying to swing it into a publicity opportunity to recoup some of the loss.
Ill be extremely surprised if everyone gets one at release. They don't have the best rep at the best of times.

It's extra content, not something that you're obliged to buy. I wouldn't see this as content that's been removed from the retail game - Nintendo have a history of their DLC releases to date being very reasonable (Mario Kart 8, New Super Mario Bros 2, New Super Mario Bros U, etc.)

You will all lost - I'm at £10.26 for my switch thanks to amazon and my Quidco amazon payments !
You're of course welcome to your opinion, but this post's temperature would suggest that you're in the minority.
Re Flubit, I personally wouldn't want to trust that their merchant will be able to fulfil orders for a console that appears to be stock-constrained at first. You may well be fortunate and get your system without issue, but it's a gamble that I (and most others) wouldn't want to take. You're also paying up-front, which many people see as undesirable.
Console: £279.99
Zelda: £36.16 using a discount code.
Somebody 'earning 50k' would still rather £244 than £320, trust me.
Nothing really. Someone got a Switch for £10.26 and I was jealous that's all X)
Who pays £50 for games these days?
In the mean time, I'm going to go back to enjoying comments from people getting really upset about the Switch.

You don't stay rich by spending it
F1 is still going? yikes.
That last sentence though. You know how many units the ds and subsequent iterations of the 3ds sold in the europe dont you? plenty says wikipedia. A slice of that action would keep me fed the whole winter.

I don't.
Just wondered why so many are willing to throw 300 quid at a console that'll have ten decent games at best.
It's your money so crack on.
This, as I mainly play on PC I own more games on my Wii U than my PS4. Sold my XB1 as Halo was about the only exclusive worth playing. So few genuine console exclusives these days.
A lot of people are willing to pay because a lot of people enjoy Nintendo games. The dual docked/portable format is also appealing to many.
For some people, myself included, owning just a handful of games over the lifetime of the console justifies the purchase.
People will buy for their own reasons, negative comments that are based on pure speculation are generally pointless.
wow, day one and commenting hard straight out of the gate! you'll do well here on hukd. welcome

Agree.
Have a look on metacritic at the top 10-15 games across all the old systems. Nintendo's are the most varied and highest rated from the likes of Edge Magazine. Also the most popular emulated games, mostly Nintendo's. The most collectable retro games and highest prices, again mostly Nintendo.
If you look on youtube there's some serious gamers on there giving recognition to hidden gems even on the 'poor selling' Gamecube.

mk8 is split screen on switch and you have a joycon each. =)
Are you disputing there is still stock available?
Check out Amazon, Tesco, Very, Smyths etc... All have stock available for launch.
All the diehards will have placed their pre orders already. No way will this be a sell out in the U.K.
