There are also powerful items that can be picked up during the races, which you can use to your advantage and your rivals' misfortune.

Reckin' and racin' with Iggy and his gang!

This platform-racing game, released for the Nintendo 64 console in 1998, features the mischievous Iggy and his friends, who have started causing trouble across Cho-Dama kingdom with their races.

The crew has started racing up the Cho-Dama's Sacred Towers, and the towers are being destroyed in the process! In Iggy's gang, the race winner becomes the new leader, so that's your goal. On your way, though, you'll have to contend with not only other racers but the people of Cho-Dama too, who will call forth hazards to thwart Iggy's gang's racing ways.

To reach the top of the towers first, you will need to use your grappling skills and achieving mastery is no simple feat. Use your arms to grab the structure to build momentum or jump extra high, or you can grab your opponents and fling them away. Combine your grappling skills with the power-ups and gadgets available in the tower, and get ready for a wild race to the top!

Nintendo is really pushing the boat out by adding these stellar games to the rental service. Yikes.

Ahh yes the all time classic "Iggy's Reckin' Balls", so glad Nintendo have curated this service with nothing but bangers instead of drip feeding us with filler games.

Be good if they did a poll on games and they added the winner every so often.

We took sooooo much pleasure with this game with my brother back in the days!

It would be awesome especially by playing with friends thanks to online multiplayer. (edited)

I don’t get why Nintendo release these games so sparingly. Ah well I still have my N64 and I’m waiting for the Analogue 3D to finally come out.

These additions are welcome...but as someone that has most of my original n64 carts and my n64 everytime I boot any n64 games on the online service I am dissapointed as they look much worse than on original hardware and often play a lot worse without the proper controllers - setting up my retro consoles in a man cave is long overdue

Okay Extreme G I get, but Iggy's Reckin' Balls? WHO ASKED FOR THAT? It has always been the game in my collection I show to people for how f*****g weird and janky it is?

Yay, another port by nintendo that is just terrible. Its just funny how emulators from 15 years ago are better than what they have now...

Extreme G was basically similar to Wipeout and F Zero.

It was lacking in content though.
