Wonder if anyone has this and can say how well this performs on heavier clothing like jeans/chino trousers ?

I've had mine for over two years and have no issues using it on heavier clothing. It may take a few more seconds going over tougher areas on jeans as compared to lighter clothting.

I have this. Its rubbish. I'm going to return. I reverted back to my old tower one

I've had this for several months, it works really well on most fabrics. Takes a little longer with thicker fabrics such as jeans or jumpers. Only used it last night to iron kids school uniform and finished with zero creases.

So either your device is faulty, or your not using it correctly.

Bought mine a few months ago. Does the job on shirts and tshirts so no complaints

Takes some time to get the hang of, but is a great space saver if you live in a small flat like me and would prefer not to store an ironing board

I have this and have been happy with it. It’s not the most powerful and use on thick garments will take several slow passes. Worth noting it’s fold-up for travel and I think not intended for use day to day as there’s more powerful steamers out there but if you’re in a hotel room without an iron it’s the difference between a wearable shirt and a heavily lined one. For best results hang a shirt in the shower room while you shower and keeping it on the hanger, stretch the fabric lightly and sweep the steamer over, pressing it lightly into the fabric like you’re ironing. Happy with mine, much quicker than getting the ironing board out when things come out of the wardrobe crumpled

I'm not tried these I'm slightly dubious about any of the steamers that have a little pump system, seems like a lot to break down. I have one which is like a kettle with a steam part on top is a little unwieldy but it's will never go wrong. Also it's quite early model and the power is a bit too higher rated at 900 watts so the thermostat clicks out I use it on an industrial dimmer and bring it down to about 700 watts or even less 500 and it works perfectly consistently whereas at full power it clicks off for a minute or so to cool down to the bit annoying every so often
