With this being "discounted" condition, you're better off paying an extra £5 and getting "unboxed" as they're usually in much better condition.

    • Boxed - Good to Mint Condition. All essential accessories. Original, first party controller of matching colour. Official box with all inserts.
    • Unboxed - As above, just without the box.
    • Discounted - Poor condition but must be fully working. Chips, dents and scratches are acceptable providing function is not impeded. Cracks or missing/broken casing is not acceptable. All essential accessories, any compatible controller. Box not required.

Noted, I have changed the listing and linked to the Unboxed version. Thanks

Consoles at CEX are usually scratched and battered. They certainly don’t resemble the grading they have been given.

Yet my local are incredibly fussy and won't take if even a scratch. Frustrating

I prefer buying from Cash Converters as they actually put pictures of the item and state condition on their website and can click and collect. Their prices tend to cheaper depending on store location.

And to add the post at reasonable prices too and package well! Have bought 2 OLED switch's and a Switch lite form there, all for quite ridiculous prices tbh.

I love the look of the slim console. Nice and discreet (edited)

The PS3 bread bin and PS5s look terrible but the other Sony consoles are lovely looking. I think this one is peak though!

I looked at an Xbox One X for my daughter in CEX earlier this year. It was obvious it had been opened as the casing wasn't sitting right. The person in store seemed to think it was acceptable for him to just to push the casing closed and have a piece of plastic that had broken off rattling around inside the console. He said he would comment on the receipt this had been done. Needless to say I bought my daughter a console elsewhere after this.

CEx deducted a few quad off the trade-in price of my PS3 when I sold it to them because it was apparently missing two rubber stoppers from the rear bottom of the case.  I wonder if they also knocked the same amount from their asking price when they went on to sell it to whoever bought it next?

These are all over facebook market place for £60-£70. Why would you pay £115?
Double your money and you're pretty close to a 2nd hand ps5 which can play ps4 discs

2 year warranty and trade in makes it worth it for some

Discounted models usually come with a third party pad, so I think the price is still a bit high. I've seen cash generators sell for about £80 with genuine pads although the warranty isn't as good.

Would this console be okay for casual gaming (games like Tekken, MK, Injustice etc.) or would a One S (not series s) be better
