I was a huge TD Unlimited 1 fan. Forza Horizon would be nothing without that masterpiece paving the way... But this new one looks so generic.

    I wouldn't advise anyone pre-order this, purely as the game doesn't even have a confirmed release date yet, has been delayed multiple times and there's no guarantee it will even release in 2024.

    After looking at the pictures, it just looks like any other racing game. What happened to the graphical leap we were expecting? It's hugely disappointing.

    But it's nice to see the Test Drive series live on.
    I remember being excited when PS1 demo discs had Test Drive demos.

    Beware of these promo videos making the game look interesting. I remember seeing the Forza Horizon 5 promo, thinking "wow, this looks good". How wrong I was there! The Crew series also disappointingly morphed into a Forza Horizon-lite game. So I'm fully expecting the new Test Drive to be one big disappointment. I'd like to be proven wrong but it seems the only innovative driving game of the past few years is made exclusively for the PS5.

    Don't even think the promo videos have done a good job of promoting the game at all, that's a big problem. Other than the nightclub stuff, this game looks worse than its peers. Doesn't even have houses/homes with garages at launch.

    What is this innovative driving game - it surely isnt Gran Turismo (edited)

    I used to love playing TD1 on the Xbox 360 with my brother over xbox live. We'd be in our own seperate bedrooms, but play together in TD1.

    I heard that there's a port or something on the PC? I own a Xbox series X but none of the Forza horizons do it for me anymore (or I'm getting old)
