    In a world where Casio exists, I never see the 'why?' of these Timex watches. At least this one is 100m waterproof.

    I agree, particularly with deals such as the Fishing gear one posted here for less then £20 and even G-Shocks starting for about £10-15 more. But it is a bit different from the ubiquitous Casios and an ex colleague of mine some years ago swore by this for ease of timing their runs and doing split laps with the dedicated button front. However, these days, eclipsed by fitness watches, anyway.

    The Ironman branding is interesting, I seem to remember this being a long partnership dating back to seeing them in the Argos catalogue as a kid. But now a triathlete would have a GPS enabled watch a la Garmin.
