Ive got the 5300 and if its anything like that its an absolute steal. Brilliant machine, never had a problem with anything. These machines play mkv at 24fps perfectly. My tv Usb and ps3 will not play them at 24fps. The ps3 must be doing some kind of conversion i think, only blurays seem to play correctly.

They do match online prices but only if the company in question has a high street store too

Let me make this simple for you, I don't agree and I'm sure they mostly hate you too. Especially if you feel the need to start shouting all the time as if just raising your voice makes you right.
Just a little help to guys who were told that they cannot return their tabs. Under distance selling regulation, you CAN open box, you CAN turn it on, but you CANNOT any data or install anything. OK...so the calculation is:
14.95 p/m after redemption - 2.5 p/m QUIDCO cashback = 12.45 p/m if everything tracks. Can anyone confirm this?

I am abroad but if that is still on in a week's time I am really tempted to get it despite already having another (not so smart)phone.

£14.95 x 24 = £358.80

Then minus Quidco which is £65.00 = £293.80 for the whole 24 months ,£12.24 pm if everything track.
Hoping for the same result here, just ordered up - cheers guys 8)
This is a panther contract as well so you get 1 swapable incl deezer music service or sky sports go so definately hot imo

If you use the sky go app i would not advise this as you cant use it on a rooted phone. I have a rooted gs2 and this is the only drawback for me.
Not quite true. If you download Voodoo OTA RootKeeper (free from the Play store) then it will hide the root and Sky Go will work with no problems. After use just re-root the device with the click of 1 button in Voodoo and you're back rooted. Tried and tested many times by myself.

Also all the info from this thread is available all over the net. XDA Developers for example.......

What does unlocking actually allow you to do? Got my S2 from CPW and can't see any obvious bloatware installed (apart from one Vodafone app).

Allows you to use the phone on another network in the event of it being locked. Say if your Phone was locked to Vodafone and you wanted to use an o2 sim in it, it would be rejected if the phone is carrier locked. Unlocking removes the carrier lock

I rooted my sgs2 about a month ago and used the galaxy unlock to unlock it, the sgs2 unlock wouldnt work.

It's only £7.90 + £10 top up - £3.03 TCB - £6.11 getpoundsback. If you want phone credit, buy £5 from icardmobile and you will get more mins/text for your money than using the o2 phone credit. If you want to sell the phone CEX pay £19 B grade or £17 C grade, it will probably be C but if you push you may get B grade, you won't get A grade as it will come in a white box.

No only work with certain Samsung Tv's see list in the OP.

There in lies the problem and why 3d will fail - at least these are cheap - panny glasses are a ridiculous £80 (£55 if look around) - so if you need 4, thats £220, plus player £130, tv £700 for a decent one - thats alot of money for a nice to have!

not only that if you change your tv - you will have to replace all the glasses - thats a joke

I posted a deal for Pany glasses £32 something.
If you change your tv then you can sell the glasses on. If you sell your tv then sell them the glasses too.
I hope to have mine for at least a couple of years and hopefully by then glasses will not be so expensive.

The things I would be concerned about with this deal are:

O2 poor 3G coverage.
Redemption is a major pain.
The S3 will be out soon so probably worth waiting, this phone will only keep falling in price.

I'd have thought you'd have switched to trolling HTC One X threads.

Or are you too waiting eagerly for the S3 to arrive?

I'd have thought you'd have posted a deal by now, after all that is the purpose of this site and you have been here over 3 years (_;)

When the S3 eventually arrives I will give it a once over to see if its an improvement on the S2, but alas, I feel it will still look and feel very cheap.

I've gone for this deal. Thanks OP.

My San Francisco is on its last legs, and although I'm not overly keen on a contract, it is only £9 more a month than I pay for GiffGaff goody bags.

Just need to find a decent case now.
Can i have this in blue?
Voted hot, because it is. Not enough for me to leave my GiffGaff unlimited data PAYG though.
This offer doesn't have enough love. It's fantastic for those of you who don't make a lot of calls. The only deal that came near it was the Phones4U one mentioned above - which, although it had 100 minutes more, only had 250mb. When you inevitably run out of the 250mb, O2 will charge you your first born for the data charges.T-Mobile simply slow you down if you run out of the 750mb mentioned here.Bought one for the OH. Have used Buymobilephones before when I bought my Galaxy S (which runs out in June). They seem genuine enough, can't say I used their Customer Service so can't really comment on it.

was at Staples today and they said toner capacity is never guaranteed .... someone bought this printer and got 2 pages out of it !!
hot but not the wireless version which was available for a similar price until end of March if you included the £50 cashback from Samsung.

Toner for this model is VERY cheap on eBay. I have the previous CLP300 model and can buy a full set of toners already rechipped for £15 delivered. Star buy in my opinion.

any chance of a link as the cheapest i can see toner cartridges is between £75-125 for colour and £25 for black

The starter toners claim 1000 pages black and 700 pages for colour. full toners are supposed to be 1500 black and 1000 colour at 5%.

I think this is the same as the 320 offered on amazon last week, but different colour scheme. http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-clp-320-colour-laser-printer-amazon-70-98-1176914

Apparently compatible chips are available so you can refill. There are also various hacks to avoid using chips, although some may not work with the latest firmware.

SSD's are expensive for what they do. Load your computer faster and start apps faster.

£200 quid would be better spent buying extra RAM.

SSD's are great where IOPS are important and latency is unacceptable. Not for consumers though, few extra seconds is not going to kill you.

Theres no turning back once you've used one.

That says it all. Worth every penny. RAM is pretty much an unnecessary upgrade for most people. 8GB is about the standard, and plenty can live with 4GB for what they use it for.

Agree entirely. Doubling the RAM on my i7 made virtually zero difference. The M4 SSD made it amzingly quicker, quieter and cooler. My 830 arrived today which is double the size and the M4 is going into my older XPS with hopefully similar results.
Each to their own I guess. I use VMware on my laptop so need tonnes of RAM.

Still available to order:

Temporarily out of stock. Order now and we'll deliver when available. We'll e-mail you with an estimated delivery date as soon as we have more information. Your account will only be charged when we ship the item.
Windows takes atleast 30-40GB on a 64B machine, I have 20-30GB spare on my 60GB SSD, I think I will be buying another one, just for "quick launch", next time the 60's or 120's are dirt cheap.

Just throw Photoshop, some "larger" games, it's just generally nicer to be quick with IO :P

Its a cheap camera! if you want professional dig deeper into your pockets.
For £30 its a bargain, only a couple of years ago the memory card cost more than that.

The pictures look fine to my 'unprofessional' eye.

Good luck with your clean up marketing campaign.... maybe it'll help you to get a life.

There is more garbage in that first paragraph than I've read in a long time.

This doesn't enhance your life, it's not a quality camera, the lens isn't amazing, it won't capture "the tiniest details" and there is no way on earth that the images produced could be described as "Professional"

Is this fact based upon you using this camera?

I'd snap this up in a heartbeat if it didn't take AA batteries. Still a hot deal - just not for me.
Indeed, that makes it nearly twice as heavy as comparable cameras with built in Li batteries.

Stay at home and spend the money on booze instead :)

agreed - id go if it was wembley as i only live about 20 or so miles - sod driving 100+ miles to watch a 2 bit team - if it was England or my team Reading then thats different

Really the only "glitch" is that you can use the code for full movies and not just rentals. Downloading higher res version for the PC seems to be a normal feature when you either buy or rent.

Cold. Cpu is slower then a i3-330m (first gen)
And when you can get 2nd Gen i3's for this price point. Not a great deal.

Pour example: http://www.ebuyer.com/281876-samsung-rv520-laptop-np-rv520-a07uk

Actually the B950 is a dual core Sandybridge processor, which means it's almost the same as any 2nd gen i3 apart from it won't have HT. I doubt many programs use HT anyway but of course when you can get an i3 SB processor over a regular dual core then of course take the better choice (the i3 SB)

Actually according to Passmark (and other benchmarks) jackdopson is right; this processor is slower than any i3 and significantly slower than sandybridge i3.
That said the HD 3000 graphics would be better than a non-Sandybridge i3's graphics (although the passmark graphics benchmark says otherwise).
You can't immediately find it cheaper in Google, but it ain't too super, and the original asking price seems a bit ambitious.
It is a bit lighter than similar notebooks, but for a price approaching £400 you would start to expect an i5 with all the cunning Turboboost and HT tricks. The resolution of the screen is less than 800 pixels high, and is glossy- yet another one for DVDs!
Graphics not bad, though.
You can get a better deal @ John Lewis with free 2-year warranty as standard.

Also if the X is just to big for some people they can get the S which has the same hardware as the X except. the screen is smaller and the flash is 16gb

The screen technology, screen size, the cpu, gpu, internel memory, materiels used...

Pretty much everything is different :)

The german vat rate is a little different and that makes a few quid difference. The phones unbeatable, but we had bad experience with on line units having to return 2 to o2 with broken seals, and they couldn't say that others would not arrive the same condition, and having read more than a few on other deals, had broken seals. If I new this was okay I would jump strait in, I want to try any way but I can't work out the returns policy for .De, how many days do you have, and are you able to send them back if the box seal is broken. In p4u the other day I handled a black and a white unit, and the black one had the newer LA4 software in it, and they had none of the lag or screen faults that you here the odd report of, the phones really are a dream.Just wish the german site was easier to understand.

Intel graphics, 4gb RAM , not HD screen, + its a samsung... they dont do good laptops

basicly you pay 1100 for i5 and 128gb SSD...

not a good deal.

Would rather buy Dell XPS 17. 8GB ram, Full HD screen, 3gb graphics card I7.. for 764 (with 2F9F7CKXB962LN code) -9% quidco

http://www.dell.com/uk/p/xps-l702x/fs

The dell XPS is hardly a ultra-book is it... so not exactly an option for someone looking for a ultra portable thin laptop...

The New XPS 13 from Dell that is £949 with the i5 processor and 128gb SSD is a much better option to compare the price against... and that £949 is before you take off any discount voucher or Quidco.. should be able to pick one up for about £850

this is the best tv i ever had and that includes my £2000 panasonic vt20 great quality all round loads better hd quality than most sets around
We own this TV but in the 32" size and it's a brilliant picture on there even for standard def TV it's very good. Hook up a Full HD source and it looks like a £500 TV let alone one for under £300.
I got a 32" samsung from this seller before christmas and it arrived faulty (had two lines running down the screen). I called there support number and they shipped a new one to swap for the old next day. Great service!
