Why would anyone want to spend £40 with them when everything is over priced beats me. They are everywhere claiming to be giving back to the communities. (edited)

They are probably the most rip off supermarket, though I know people who swear by Co Op.

When does this go live? Will it ever go live? I hear Take That now shops at Lidl instead.

I have a Morrisons, Tesco and Co-Op near me, the Co-op literally 3 mins walk away... the Co-Op is usually only when I am desperate for Milk, bread and bananas, or it's raining really heavy.... most things are so expensive in there

Morrisons has been great the last 8 months or so with all.the vouchers I get on here (edited)

From a coop insider, strategy is not to be cheapest as they cannot beat the likes of big supermarkets like Tesco on purchasing power to keep prices down or compete with the likes of Aldi or Lidl. In order for them to survive they like to be more of a convenience store at every corner of the country. So there is a premium for convenience. And it's a cooperative so it's kind of owned by the members which give people shopping a feeling that they are contributing to a business which they part own . But co-op brand products are much better quality compared to supermarket own products.
