Says successfully activated, but still shows as £0 Prime Video credit. Guess you need to have received the email for it to work.

You almost certainly don't have the credit, even though it looked like you'd been accepted- this offer doesn't seem to work. Try using these instructions to check:

I received the invite on my iPad via a Prime notification. Clicked on it and there was an activate button at the top of the screen (on the iPad). Now when I select a movie £5 or under it shows as £0.00. I had to then go to the computer to complete the purchase, for some reason it wasn't working on the iPad.

Looks like the link just takes you to the success landing page without actually giving you any credit. (Looks like it's invite only to actually get any free credit). (edited)

This is my experience too. The link worked and said the offer had been activated. I tried to purchase The Book of Eli to replace 2 different copies I own on Blu-Ray that have developed "disc rot" and will no longer play. My wallet was empty like in screenshot posted by "barnesy99". Figured I'd try it anyway so went ahead with the purchase but was charged the full £7.99 price.

Doesnt work for me. Reached out to Amazon support and they demanded to see the promo email from them before they can issue the £5, despite the link in HUKD said the £5 successful activated.
So I asked for a refund instead. (edited)

They should have just refunded you the £5

If you have the app they have sections for reduced movies for rental and purchase.

  15. Master_Yoda's avatar
Why is this so hot when all it does is bring up a fake page saying you've been accepted??
  16. t.rex's avatar
Sounds like a waste of time, not one person has said they actually got the £5 credit to work, so is this a real deal? (edited)
    Muig1972's avatar
No. In an ideal world, a member of HUKD staff would check the hottest deal of the day to make sure it's legit. Clearly we are not in an ideal world.
  17. TertiaryAdjunct_'s avatar
    Worked for me thanks

Been a paying customer for years but all I get are price increases, ads, minimum spends, and no offers.

They are treating existing customers badly, and unfortunately there isn't a viable alternative.
  20. World's avatar
Literally used the gift credit and then it charged my actual card instead. What a waste of time & money.
    MartyNUFC's avatar
I'm kinda glad this didn't work for me as I have a feeling it's gonna charge most people full whack
