I've just gone through a deal to a website called mighty deals and they were selling 32gb memory cards for £10 so I bought 2 and I got 2 emails with "voucher" codes to another website I've never heard of and the other website charges £4 each for delivery. I don't want to enter my details on there aswell to get ripped off again.. Is there anything I can do? Please help!

My grumble is that I can't access the MDeals website unless I sign up for a newsletter.

Sorry but that is not what I want to do at this time, but I can't clear the box and continue.

Seems pushy, to say the least!
I ordered a variety of things from mighty deals, having found groupon a similar company really excellent in the past, so I thought mighty deals would be worth a go. How completely wrong was I, the first item turned up and was a poor excuse for what was advertised! It was like a completely different item and not worth anywhere near the price paid never mind the rrp they claimed. Fair do's to mighty deals though, they refunded me the whole order as i then cancelled it, but I am still out of pocket by around £40 for delivery costs that nobody will reply to me about, nor will anyone take responsibility for. I am currently going through trading standards as it has been weeks now! Be warned!
wish i had read this before i used MIGHTY DEALS i have been waiting for a 9 inc tablet that i still not recived and have tryed to contact them a number of time but no joy still trying to get my money back if any one has any brain wavers pls let me know
TO mighty deals you are a con comperny and rip poeple off i hope that you get fround out and i will not stop this protest you tookj 79 pounds from me and the comperny you use is not a compeny just somthing you have thought up SO PLS IF ANYONE IS THINKING ABOUT BUY FRO MIGHTY DEALS DONT I REPITE DONT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mighty Deals are crap. I ordered the 32gb USB deal from them at the beginning of November, Paid my £9.99 and received voucher ok.
Went onto site to redeem code (Austin Lewis) and was asked to pay for postage. Put in my details and was charged full price of product plus postage £42.98. Have emailed Austin Lewis about 20 times regarding this and all I got back was your details have been passed on to our accounts department, That was over 2 weeks ago. I then emailed again and got a reply of " your details are with our accounts department and there is nothing else we can do", Mighty Deals not helping either. So far I've spent over £50 and not received item or refund from either Mighty Deals or Austin Lewis. I would avoid these deals at all costs. Just not worth the hassle.

Any body think of purchasing any thing from mighty deals be careful as you do not get the product on time and you constantly have to chase them was given 4 separate dates, I felt like a mushroom every time I called them. So if you do buy of them and wanting the goods before Christmas there is a good chance you will not receive them............... My experience I would not buy any thing from them again.
I can assure you we do not hide behind any legal loopholes and would invite any customer to look at our T's & C's. All P&P is stated very clearly on our website, if this isn't the case please let us know immediately. This also applies for anyone who believes they have been overcharged. All our merchants go through a rigorous verification process before we will put any deals live. If any customer has not had a response from a merchant for 48hrs please contact our customer service number on 01483 412 978. Fiona our customer services manager tries her best to respond to all queries on this website.

Matilda007, your issue regarding your late delivery is very concerning. Can you please contact the office and ask to speak to Neil. I will deal with your query immediately.

Kind Regards,

Neil - Director at ****

I have tried contacting your customer services many times. I've waited nearly a month now, no product received, no refund. It's a joke. You don't even have a contact number for the merchant involved (Austin Lewis). Keep getting the same daft email from Mighty Deals saying that your dispute has been resolved, well clearly it hasn't been resolved and I can see no other way except going to the trading standards to report this. I just hope people read all these comments before it's too late for them also.

Email me your details on Monday and I will sort this out. Neil.campbell@****.co.uk

We sell well over 50,000 items per month, the majority of which have a good service. I don't however like to hear even 1 customer not having a good experience.
I have tried to unsubscribe from Mighty deals 23 times over the last few weeks. Every time I get an email from them I immediately go to the unsubscribe page. As soon as I do, I get an automated message which states that it will take 48 hours and appologises if I get any more emails in that period. This has been going on now for at least three weeks. I am quite relieved that I have never purchased anything on their site.If their systems are so bad that I can't unsubscribe, I can't begin to imagine what it must be like to have an actual customer complaint regarding an order. Be warned !
Hello Mal,

We are definitely not a scam, please call us tomorrow and we will look into your order. You will get a complete refund.
Not sure about that, I've been waiting for a week to get a refund.

Dear Quabba

I believe we have refunded you for a charge not taken by MDeals as well as the original voucher cost. I had emailed you several times with an update and Neil confirmed this with you yesterday as well.

Please let us know if this money has not been returned to you. The cost of the voucher (£9.99) may take up to another 4 days to reach your account.

I have never reviewed a company before but felt I had to - please dont use Mighty Deals - I purchased eight vouchers and have received none of the goods. Have been waiting over a month, asked for a refund - no reply.
Dear lentrust – Please send us your details so we can investigate this for you - customersupport@****.co.uk

Dear Almostr1pped0ff – Please also send your details through to us, including what product you have purchased as it’s not mentioned on your post. I would also like to know when you spoke to Sophie at Mighty Deals, as we don’t have a Sophie -

Dear DonnaSheppard10 - Your refund for the 8 vouchers was made on the 22nd November. Please email us if you have any further enquiries - customersupport@****.co.uk

I wish I had read this thread before ordering products through Mighty Deals, had ordered Cineworld Vouchers in the past with no issue however placed an order for 5in1 Mop 5 weeks ago - still waiting for it to arrive, have contacted Mighty Deals / Austin Lewis and don't seem to be getting anywhere - how long does it take to send out an order - AVOID!!!
Fiona - If you are able to reply on here i think maybe you might be kind enough to reply to my email which is nearing two weeks now without a reply?!
This is becoming beyond a joke
Have been waiting for goods from austen lewis ordered through mighty deals early November - no goods no response to emails no telephone number of austen lewis ??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would "customer services" from mighty deals care to comment on this
Austen Lewis 0207 474 0740 or 0207 474 7234
Good luck
Ordered two MP3 players which did not arrive
Ordered camera lens coffee mug, voucher didn't work, therefore no coffee mug, but money taken from my account
Sent numerous emails but no help received to resolve problems
Will not use Mighty Deals in future

Have been waiting for goods from austen lewis ordered through mighty deals early November - no goods no response to emails no telephone number of austen lewis ??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Would "customer services" from mighty deals care to comment on this

I too am awaiting goods ordered early November via Austin Lewis, have now been assured from Mighty Deal that Austin Lewis have guaranteed delivery will be by Wednesday at the very latest, here is hoping - can't believe its taken since early November to deliver a 5 in 1 mop, what a joke!!
Dont let scammers get away with it, report them to trading standards. If you paid by card you can also do a charge back and recover your money.
Hi Guys

As I've said many times before; none of these screen names bear any resemblance to any orders on our systems, so we can get these issues resolved for you please send an email, ensuring in the subject line that you enter -

HUKDeals / Your Screen Name for HUKDeals / The Email address linked to your Mighty Deals Account

Please include your enquiry in the bulk of the email.

Please send these details through to deliveries@****.co.uk so we can investigate.

We realise the phones and our email helpdesk are both very bust at the moment, we do have an “on hold” message for the Customer Support phone line and all agents are working at full capacity. Given the time of year and how notoriously busy it is during the Christmas period for many companies please bear with us. We are doing all we can to respond to all of our customer enquiries as quickly as possible.

Have contacted Mighty Deals and have been sent the following. Hope the Portable DVD arrives or my 11 year old doesn't have a main Christmas present! I will contact watchdog if it doesn't arrive!!!!

Thank you for sending your enquiry through to our Customer Support Help Desk. Please accept our apologies for any delay in responding to your enquiry, we have been experiencing a very high number of Customer enquiries leading up to the Festive Season.
We have today received several updates regarding the deliveries of Austen Lewis / Gadget’s & Products orders, please see below for you delivery update:

WINAIT 12 Megapixel Digital Camcorder – This item is being sent out this week, as long as you have redeemed your voucher by 14th December.
Shuffle MP3 Player – We have been advised that the MP3 Players have already started being dispatched to customer, these orders should be with customer by the end of the week.
9 inch DVD and Freeview TV Player – All the 9 Inch DVD and Freeview TV Players are being sent out this week as long as you have successfully redeemed your voucher.
Gravity Defying Remote Control Car – As long as you have redeemed your voucher by 14.12.2012, you should be receiving this order before Christmas. They are currently being sent out this week.
The service is appalling. I paid for a voucher to get batteries from Austen Lewis. The voucher code keeps being rejected. Austen Lewis ignored my emails and they don't even list a phone number! I contacted Mighty Deals and they either assume I don't know how to type a simple code into a box or they ask me all over again for the details of the problem. It's infuriating.
I bought something of this merchant Illuminata using a voucher from Mighty deals.
Placed the order on 10th of November and still haven't received my goods as of 19th december. tried to contact the merchant in-numerous times but haven't got a response from them yet.
Finally got in touch with Mighty deals and asked them to sort it out. they themselves have no idea as the merchant doesn't even reply to their phone calls or emails.
They turn around and tell me it has been dispatched and I will get it by the end of the week. But when I ask for a tracking number they say they dont have it and they cant get in touch with the merchant.

I am so **** of with the whole situation that I am going to blog about it all over the internet so that no body else falls into this situation.
Also, I have booked an appointment with the trading standards for the 28th December .

I am one of the Directors at Mighty Deals and I wanted to personally respond to your emails. We have a small handful of merchants at the moment, who have sold a lot of deals on our site. Some of these products have had late shipments to the merchant, which has clearly caused some problems. We are doing everything we can to address the situation, but I completely understand your frustration.

Please do not think we are not trying to do something about it. We want you all to get your products and we are working hard to ensure this happens.

Please email me on neil.campbell@****.co.uk and I will work with fiona and the merchants to get these deals out to you asap.

Again I do apologise. The last thing we want is customers not getting their products. We are also addressing merchants who do deliver late and many of them will no longer be advertising on Mighty Deals.

Kind Regards,

Neil Campbell
Austen Lewis are in a word 'cowboys' and Mighty Deals know what the game is with this unprofessional organisation. However, Mighty deals continue to promote Austin Lewis goods obviously due to profit. No regards for the customer who are offered poor service and fleeced with their voucher code scam and additional admin charges for refunds. Almost £200 taken from my account no 1in5 mop, no refund for having mistakenly taken full payment of £159.98 instead of the £9.99 delivery charge. Charged £5 admin charge to get refund and Mighty Deals took their £39.99 too. It's a disgrace! You the bad publicity is warranted and will mount
A great e mail address as if you look it comes up with stars!!! Still no parcel. If not arrived by tomorrow I shall be contacting my credit card company to put a hold on the payment and if the item arrives it will be down to mighty deals/austin lewis to collect. Now have to go out and spend more money on another present. Mighty Deals are a joke, surely they are meant to check how reliable a company they promote a deal with are?
Hi Happi1975, We don't take the email address off the site, it is something hotukdeals do. The stars are our company name ****

If we cannot get Austen Lewis to confirm delivery today, we will let you know. We did check them before they were allowed to advertise on our site. I do however agree this should not have happened and we are doing everything we can to get our customers their product.

We will be in touch today.

Neil Campbell
Just had a reply from Austen Lewis, funny how they say 20 days and Mighty Deals say 15 days. Also, item will be DISPATCHED before Christmas, not shall ARRIVE before Christmas!!

Thanks for being patient during this extremely busy period where we receive a high number of emails daily. All our staff are working hard to provide customers with a prompt reply and we do our best to respond to any queries within a 72 hour period, although unfortunately this hasn't always been possible.

Your order is currently being processed.

Any orders placed before the 14th of December will get dispatched before Christmas.

Please understand that orders take up to 20 working days to dispatch, as stated on our site. This does not include delivery times and you will need to allow extra time for this.

Kind Regards and a Merry Christmas,

Paul Nunn
I agree i have had noting but issues with mighty deals i bought a tablet and when i contacted the company they said that mighty deals had not paid them. I buy from discount vouchers and wowcher and receive everything i order.
Dear Mighty Deals Customers

With regards to the 5in1 Steam Mops; our current supplier is having difficulty sourcing the Mops in time for Christmas delivery, so we have obtained an alternative with exactly the same specification from another supplier.

We are doing all that we can to ensure the mops are received before Christmas.

Please accept our apologies for the delay in sending the 5in1 Steam Mops, we hope that our customers will be pleased with their purchase when it is received.

Kind regards

Bought 2 MP3 players through Mighty Deals from Austen Lewis well over a month ago , contacted both companies when it took longer to arrive than stated when purchased but assured by Austen Lewis that they would arrive for christmas although I had purchased them for presents before christmas, one day to go now , not happy with this service , what price on them arriving before christmas now. Will I get my money back if they don't arrive hmmmmmmmm.
Hi Andy,

I am one of the Directors at Mighty Deals. I apologise for you not getting your MP3 player in time for Christmas. You are also entitled to a refund should you like. Please call our Customer Services team and they will contact Austen Lewis for you tomorrow.
I'm still trying to get my code to work for some batteries. So trivial yet maddening. Austen Lewis are sending an automated reply claiming they might not even get to read the emails you send them. How convenient! I've contacted Might Deals twice, and Austen Lewis twice. Nothing. Awful service.

Edited By: gkmacca1 on Dec 23, 2012 22:16
Thanks Mighty deals, I have e-mailed your customer service team for a refund and for them to contact Austen Lewis also for a refund, hope the refunds are dealt with quickly as I have contacted both firms before on the 17th dec and was assured they would arrive by christmas as long as I had bought before the 14th dec and I had actually ordered in November, thanks Andy
tip do your research google a site find out info on it before handing out details i do this everytime
thanks ashmac , I paid with a credit card so hopefully I would be ok in the long run anyway, but you are right I should always do a search first although most times 1000 who do get great service don't write but one that gets bad service does so it can be a bit misleading sometimes.
