Smart radiator thermostat

Hi just wondering if people can give me some advice.

Just had a tado smart thermostat installed, looking to get the smart trvs which are expensive

Is there any other models that work with tado, cant seem to be able to find an answer online.

Thank you

Not that I know of and I know what you mean by expensive, I was quite shocked at how much they cost given that the main control system only cost me £116. Maybe their business model is akin to inkjet printers?

Yeah, seems that way. Was hoping other manufacturers might work, but will keep looking out for offers

I have smart trv's on all my radiators for years. Got them cheap when Maplin were swirling round the toilet bowl. Great things for being able to just set and forget. I have netatmo system, and it's flawless. I would suggest if you are going to go to the expense of getting trvs then just bite the bullet and get the proper thermostat installed also, and get rid of the one you have. More likely to have far less problems that way (edited)

Thank you for this, i think I am going to just wait and get the tado ones when there on offer, like you say better to have the compatable than work with different systems

I would like to know what is the advantage of Smart TRVs over manual ones? If I like my living room at 20 degrees I just set up regular TRV and then never touch it again. Bedroom TRVs occasionally get adjusted for guest preferences , otherwise they don't get altered either. What would a Smart TRV do different?

We have a 1 year old and in her room it drastically drops in the night. So want to be able for system to auto keep her room to a temp and not overheat the other rooms
