Coop meal deal rules changed?

As highlighted in a recent post, you can usually combine your 50p membership discount with any personal membership offers to increase the money you can save on a meal deal. But it now looks like this has been quietly nerfed?

Just wondered in any employees or HUKDers can confirm or deny? Only thing to add is the seems to have coincided with the introduction of the festive range. Not sure if it is inclusion of these products that is having an effect or in the general rules have changed.

The last 3 times the meal deal has not gone through for me with the discount and an offer. My local staff have not been great at helping (claiming that the two reductions never combined etc).

I purchased this just a few days ago. Got the 50p member discount, used both the weekly vouchers (had Doritos and Diet Coke, 50p each) and the 25p from the wheel spin also worked. Paid £2.25.

    Thanks for the reply.

Did you have any of the festive stuff? It seems that may be the cause or my account has an issue....

You can't use your TOTUM card either after the end of this month which was a nice little saver on a meal deal especially when you had the right vouchers too. (edited)

Interesting. Maybe the rules are changing definitively.

How did you hear about the TOTUM change?
