Ordering groceries online minimum spend voucher

New to online grocery shopping. So what I'm curious about is let's say I spend just over 60 quid to meet the threshold for the money of voucher I have (12 of a 60 spend). Lo and behold some of the items I ordered end up out of stock and now my order total is below £60. Will my order no longer be eligible for the discount?

It can depend, i've seen people on here say they lost a % of the discount when something's out of stock at Morrisons,
so say if your order is £60 but something is out of stock that costs £6 (10%) then you would lose 10% of the discount,
so your £12 discount would become a £10.80 discount,

However the last time i ordered from Morrisons my order was around £4 under the threshold as something had been substituted for a cheaper item i still got the full discount,

It's likely to vary depending on Supermarket used and their rules on it,
it might also depend on whether you've accepted a cheaper substitute or rejected it

IE: it 'might' be that if you accept a cheaper substitute you get full discount,
but if you reject the substitute they claw back some of the discount

But it is my understanding that they won't just cancel the whole discount,
at worst they'll just deduct some of the discount pro rata (edited)

I'm sure the small print says its money off the "ordered" value NOT the "supplied" value.
They would soon lose thousands of customers if it was different.

Which supermarket is that small print from?
the OP hasn't said which place they ordered from so might not be applicable

I've only ever had it honoured. I actually cross my fingers it happens, as the % discount just gets better with every out of stock item!

sainsburys and tesco have given me the discount in full when this has happened in the past. don't know about the other supermarkets.

what i found was the 25% off for 6 bottles of wine didn't work if they only had 5 in stock but i contact CS and they will apply the 25% discount manually.
