What happened to Gamestation being bought out by Game? I'm sure I read that was happening...

was this just on today or is it also on tomorrow?? Is there a limit to how many you buy or could I buy 3 crackdown?? Cheers fellow scousers!!

Well i recon its been open about a week and they have been there since day one so my guess is tomorrow aswell, dont think there is a limit but always safe to check

Yeh, Game will be taking over gamestation, its just that they can't at the moment because if they do, they will be in violation of the law that restricts Monopolies.

I'm sure they did get bought out, if I remember correctly they stated that GAME and Gamestation will remain two separate entities.

If all the Gamestation stores changed to GAME, I think that would be ridiculous because that means there would be at least 2 GAME stores in every city centre/town. 4 in Liverpool city centre, if that were to happen O_o Its like EB and GAME all over again

Game own Gamestation...they bought them out i left shortly after they did its a real shame that they would sell to a rival, but game are being investigated now by the monopoly commision

Game wont be changing the name of Gamestation or closing stores, they plan to just run it as a sepearte company, probably buying and selling stock on the cheap between them.
