With a directional tread pattern, the CrossClimate 2 quickly gets rid of water from the tyre providing exceptional grip in wet conditions. The tread pattern features 3-D sipeLock technology to enhance treadwear resistance and a distinctive V-formation pattern to spread out weight evenly throughout, extend the treadlife of the tyre as well as improving grip – in dry weathers all the way to the snowiest of days.

Michelin have designed this tyre with safety at the forefront with the Cross Climate 2 stopping up to 16 feet shorter than competitor tyres based on Michelin testing.

    Got these on my Focus.

Never driven on a tyre that seems to aquaplane as much.

Maybe good for those who like to slow down in wet conditions.

Interesting as they are rated very well in aquaplaning tests against other all season tyres. I would assume you don't have the XL version on a focus though?

Sometimes I think people comment on tyre threads just to boast about the rubber bands they have on their car!

Slightly off topic (apologies) - does anyone know the tyre size for the larger tyres that fit on a Volvo XC90? I,'ve Googled but it's a bit confusing. TIA.

Try putting your registration into blackcircles.com or Halfords tyre check and it should give you the size or sizes the car may use (edited)

Paid this price a few weeks back using eBay codes via Black Circles. Brilliant tyres. Very smooth and quiet, and improved MPG by 10% vs set of 3.5 year old Continentals.

These tyres are interesting. I had a set of 4 fitted to a 2017 Polo. The fronts wore out after 25k miles or so. As per Costco regulations they fitted new ones to the rear and moved the rears to the front. The rears still had 4m of tread so plent left. After that the car was undriveable. Slightest turn of steerig wheel and you felt like you'd be off into a hedge, even in the dry. Mechanic diagnosed failed differential. Fitted new tyres to replace the ones now fitted on the front and the car was perfect again. Very odd. Tyres that came off looked perfectly decent and were fine when on the rear.

I considered these but found upon review that the primacy 4 ones were better. Paid £499.92 for x4 235/55/19. £100 off deal at Costco

Depends on what you're after. I had Primacy 4's on a previous car and they were great, but they are summer tyres, not all season like these. All season, at the very least, are much better when it's really cold.
