Asus is offering early Nexus 7 buyers a £25 voucher to spend on its store, thanks to the tablet's recent price drop.
Asus is offering the free £25 to those who bought the Google Nexus 7 on or before 29 October, the date when the price of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tablet was slashed from £199 to £159 at the Google Play store.

Hope this saves you some wasted time. The one stated in the software is an 18 digit code for starters - and the website one needs to be 12 digits.

How about getting 2 Nexus 7 cases for 30 pounds, get it down to 27pounds using the code, then use the voucher, you're effectively getting 2 cases for 2 pounds!
What kick in the teeth? So you honestly weren't expecting the price to fall months after buying it?
The serial number there worked first time for me, it even filled in the 2 drop down menus

try the SSN code from the barcode sticker on the box (if you kept it)... worked for me after about 10 tries

Because the identify serial number on the Asus site is incorrect its SNN on the box.
I spent ages trying to input the serial but i figured it out see below for correct input.
the 3rd letter is O not zero and the last but one is a zero so it should look like this C1OKBC368501

Stupidity. Does 'building PCs' make poorly designed websites perfectly acceptable to you? Regardless of the product sold, in this day and age a company should not have a slow website,with poor English language, confusing navigation etc. etc.
I sent off a copy of my receipt, so we'll see where we get. I'll definitely be buying two cases - teal and orange.
