I personally would hold out bud, if its not getting used till christmas day then whats the point, its almost 4 months away. Surely a better deal with a better game will appear closer to xmas and if not, then buy it with this cr4p game nearer the time. Game normally throw up some half decent bundles nearer to xmas, eg extra pad when buying a certain couple of games etc
My advice, hold out
It does not have a UHD player, which is a dealbreaker for me and mayber others. And for £230 this is an amazing price considering the 4K player.

No HD audio with that 4K goodness. Some of us like bitstreaming.
Sure, sure.
S = white, new pad, power block built in, HDR, 4K, supposedly noisier, smaller
Old = black, older pad, power brick external, whisper quiet, looks like an old VCR.
Personally if you have no need for 4K the better value would be had with an older version imo. Then wait and see what Scorpio brings.
I'm edging that way myself, I don't see there being enough there to upgrade from the older console. Sure 4K would be nice, I own a 4K set, but I don't watch a lot of films so no huge selling point for me.

2gb?!?
I like that on instant mode it's dead silent compared to the old one.
Expensive?? It comes with a 4k player. I'm slightly gutted I paid £600 for my panasonic
I have used them both as UHD players. The Panasonic is superior in every way and support HD sound formats.
Not that many maybe 10 at a push. But just buy a cheap external usb 3.0 hard drive and connect that to the xbox to expand the space. I got a 2tb drive for £35 and it works perfect.

You could sell the code easily enough
Yeah but it's so small she may not even notice it
Doesn't really matter for fifa digital games, it'll be worth £1 next year regardless if it's disc
Cheers

go to tesco direct and search for xbox one s 500gb, thats how i bought it
Sprayed it white and shrank it?!
Could easily add to that comment. Must resist the urge!
There will always be another deal...
No, its the same price as everywhere else, but you can use a £20 voucher for it to be cheaper. Tesco have 4000 products you can use the same code on - so why not list all 4000 products as 600% deals.
does it play UHD Blu Rays?
lots of reports, it puts me off a bit

Add them as offers if you are that fussed fella (or lady). Fact remains that this is cheaper than anywhere else by £20. You'll also get clubcard points and quidco/TCB. Makes it a hot deal in my eyes.
Try typing the name of it into the search bar. Pops straight up
