If it is 60 Hz then it should not be called a gaming monitor. Better off with 1440p monitor with a high refresh rate at this price. Honestly I don't know what sort of gamer would want this. Why would you cheap out on a 60 Hz monitor for 4k gaming when the rest of the pc is going to cost so much anyway.

There's no rule on what constitutes a "gaming" monitor, just like everything else with the word gaming in it. I guess if you are into slower paced games, turn based games, etc, it will play just fine. Not everything needs high refresh rates, although they are nice to have. And of course, if you only want to play at 60Hz, hardware requirements will be lower.

Hot only as a second monitor. For the main display need 144hz refresh rate and 1ms response time.

Great Monitor have owned one for around 18months, no issues with it, Can game on it, Single player games or strategy games no issues, lets be honest if your a serious fsp'er your not playing on 4k anyway.#

And truth be told 4k@60fps is still difficult in some titles even for top end cards like 4080s/4090.

I have a 1440p 175 monitor for my main and this Asus for my 2nd monitor, running on a 7900gre
