B&Q seem to be having a massive clear-out and are getting rid of about half the stock. Old colours I guess they want off the shelves by easter. Lots and lots of colours available and plenty of stock (hundreds of tins in Northampton).

I even picked up some gloss paint reduced to £3 from £11

Azko Nobel own Dulux. They also make the paint for B&Q. Lower quality pigments are the only difference.

Having just painted my whole house using B&Q Colours/Dulux/Crown I'd agree with ciaranj. The B&Q white was of a pretty bad consistency and even after 2 coats the cream walls were showing. I went and bought the Crown White (£10 for a 5l tub) and it did the job in one coat on the rest of the house. I ended up returning all B&Q colours which were on 3 for 2 offer last week too.

It is not, B&Q One Coat Emulsion is the best that I have ever used, far better than Crown.
