Your price of £49.29 clearly states 'no checked baggage'.

Yes. but it includes a 23kg cabin bag + a personal item, which is the 23kg allowance I referred to.

Don’t forget, free booze and some basic food on ALL LCY BA flights even in ecomnomy. However, no lounge available which is not good. (edited)

Economy from city is better than flying business from Heathrow for BA Europe flights. All you get is a free middle seat 3-3 arrangement and crowded lounge access for much more £. Long queues at Heathrow security. Meanwhile at city it’s a breeze like 10 mins from entry to the gate and they usually use 2-2 smaller planes even for economy.

Flying from London City is so good, for so many reasons HEAT!

Yes, the shole charges obscene amounts for parking.

Never book with BA ever again to Europe as I was cancelled going out and coming home with no reason

You could get 250 euros (+expenses) compensation for each passenger on each flight if your arrival was delayed by more than 3 hours, and the cancellation wasn’t due to “extraordinary circumstances” like weather, under EU law.

Rules here, with link down the bottom to their online claim form: britishairways.com/con…ion (edited)

This seems so be good for holidays booked in the next 2 months, anything after seems to still be quite expensive

Tbf comparing like for like — can you fly with a flexible anytime off peak ticket with a baggage allowance for £129, purchasing the ticket on the day of travel?

Found £35 flights to Belfast in July. Amazing. Good for a short break from London for a few days! Normally £60+ one way. (edited)
    MoneySaver94's avatar
What's there to do in Belfast though, plus accommodation there is really expensive for what you get vs rest of Europe.

Anyone found an easy way to search BA Hols prices. For example if im looking for Rome, flight+hotel, 7 days, July-Aug?

I usually use their flight search to find cheap dates then manually play around with dates. But it’s time consuming and worse still I could easily miss dates when BA hols flights are cheaper (they have a separate seat allocation). (edited)

I bought a flight from City to Rotterdam; two adults and one child (8). Weirdly the child ticket is more expensive than an adult ticket by £16! Looking at the price breakdown this seems to be due to a higher (opaque) 'passenger service charge - UK'. I rang BA and they couldn't explain it; nor did they recommend I buy an adult ticket for the child. I paid the extra in the end but it seems a bit of a con!

Dublin will likely be “code shared” with Aer Lingus. Same company essentially.

Then it will tell you when booking

Am I being dumb or does this sale not cover Tenerife? Looking for flights in either June or July for 2 of us and seems like RyanAir is the best option but always get caught out with their luggage policies!
