The lowest it's been is £40. It should sell in eBay for £55 on eBay after retirement so an easy £5 profit after fees, P&P and tax ;-(
Its showing 52.82
Good price... Thanks.
Also a big reduction and Amazon's lowest price https://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-Star-Wars-75179-Fighter/dp/B06W2KC1QS/ref=sr_1_24?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1528817376&sr=1-24&keywords=kylo+ren
I always find going through my RAC Membership generally throws up cheapest prices
Anyone know any good deals for parking at Liverpool in August?
I find parking is more expensive via this visa link
Voted hot and bought
Pretty sure in the late 80s /early 90s 'chad' meant s**t.
A comprehensive set but as others have said it's very flimsy. If your kids play rough the set will get broken very quickly!
I’ve got it too but haven’t opened it.
Its hit and miss in these lounges once it was ok other times looked in walked around but never stayed as it can get very very busy and left in a right mess food not replenished etc etc also the hot food option was crap and the amount of time you spend in here you could have a nice main meal in the restaurant with drinks in comfort for the same price or less. Saying all this if this is what you want then £18 is not a bad price at all pity it does not come with the premium security pass that you get if you book direct as i does not say its included.
Worth it for me when I know we'll spend that much in food and drink while we're there and this way we get to have unlimited hot and cold drinks and a comfy seat at the same time :D
I would still say this is £10 to much.
Used this old link which still works, just bought 2 passes - price is now £18 each but still cheap https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/dragonpass-airport-lounge-single-use-visit-1550-2524898
Please share the link
Quick warning, every time i've flown from EMA Fast Track has been closed, even when i've seen large groups with pre-booked fast track tickets during the day
Cheapest thing to get if you don't need anything specific. https://shop.eastmidlandsairport.com/shop/technology/cameras-and-camcorders/candc-accessories/hama-super-snap-lens-cap,-55-mm/c-1042/c-1825/p-7603?referer=PL
Changed it. :D
But why is the photo a macbook air? :o
Gatwick is on the Brighton Line so most ordinary trains continue to other destinations, you can get via Gatwick trains from other London stations too, St Pancras, London Bridge and West Hampstead even, so no need to go to Victoria.
Are take this bus it takes 1 1/2 hrs if no traffic check the link if you want to go this way but prices vary for more passengers and dates.
Train 30 mins uk contactless bank card or oyster card £8.30 or £12 normal fare depending on what time and date for all fares.
So can someone help me out what's the best way? From Gatwick to central London
For my future reference, is the normal to-Brighton train different from a London to Gatwick train? Or is it the same thing/cost?
Code SUNNY18 is not working.
Is that on the Looking4parking website? Or through another company? I'm looking for 2 weeks parking at Newcastle airport too 😁
Use code WINTERSUN £22.99 for 2 weeks parking at Newcastle Airport, not sure if it works for other airports !
Holiday Extras was still a few quid cheaper for me.
not sure where you're getting a taxi from or too but £25 for a long weekend is a solid deal, i really think these types of thing just depend on the time / day you book
I don't know about Stanstead, but I've parked at Manchester Airport terminal 3 multi-storey carpark for a long weekend and only cost £25 through Flybe. Which was a lot cheaper than the £70 each way in a taxi.
Yeah at least 10-15% discount.
I find you get more discount booking through holiday extras using one of the many codes available
Good stuff! My card should arrive today or tomorrow. Let’s see how we get on but if we are able to consistently get the discounted rate and the security lane pass I will be well chuffed. I’d like to say I’m surprised by your Ryanair experience but sadly....
T3 also still exists. if you come out of the LT station exit barriers and go slightly left, or right if you came from the platform by lift rather than escalator, you will see a mesh fence with beyond it the travolators still in situ, and even illuminated signs directing to ‘Terminal 1’ ... this is despite T1 closing 3 years ago!!
Gourmet book by 4th May
T2 or 4 or 5?
Terminal one doesn’t exist !! it was demolished long ago. Maybe that’s why no lounge there
Not at the Mo Sorry :(
Sorry i Don't at the moment :(
Meet and greet provided by the airport is different. Any codes for Manchester airport? Need hotel and parking for week.
I wonder, why people are still using the "meet & greet" after all the stories we heard?! I always look for "keep your keys" phrase before doing the booking.
I don't suppose you know of any parking deals for Luton alphamike?
That happened to me once, I rang them and they resent the email.
Looks like the code isn’t working now. I also didn’t get any email confirmation, I can see my booking on the website using my booking reference though.
Thanks kalamity I'm pleased I haven't booked mine yet. You should post this separately.
Thanks just used this and got 2 weeks for same price. Great discount! (y) 🏻
WINTERSUN will give you the best price reduction for Newcastle airport, just got 2 weeks July/Aug for £22.99
Bought this at xmas for same price. Was the biggest waste of money ever. Was a right pain to put together and just fell apart all the time. Wouldnt even pay a fiver and originally argos said it was supposed to be £49.99 lol
Thanks. That’s my first Christmas present bought.
Very flimsy and not easiest to make too. Picked one from Argos Clearence Centre for £9.99 fewy
Bought this deal from Groupon a couple of days before I needed it. I wanted to use it to get myself & my dad home from a flight arriving at Heathrow at 5.30am, so I thought great. As we live in London, that time of the morning it would take us about 30 minutes to get home. After downloading the app I tried to book the cab, but it kept saying that the destination was out of their boundaries, (we live about 16 miles away). Eventually I called the contact number on the app to find out about their "boundaries" only to be met with less that average customer service & told that if I wanted to know anything I should go back to the app along with being told that they don't take any bookings over the phone. As far as I could see, there is no boundary map on the app. In the end, I went back to Groupon to get a refund. What a waste of time.
Oh yes, good shout - I forgot about that. I will make it clear to the driver too just in case. I wonder what the arrangement is with pick-up - probably need to make it clear when booking it. EDIT - just seen this on their site: "When you exit arrivals please meet your driver at the arrivals barrier in your arrival terminal. Your driver will be waiting with a name board 45 minutes after your flight lands and will assist you to your vehicle."
You'll be dropped off at the free drop off zone and that is mid stay car park at Stansted. About 10min on the bus from the airport
The last shared taxi I got from the airport, the guy next to me had to DEMAND the taxi driver to stop to pee otherwise he'd wet himself. Not even joking. Taxi driver and I were p*ssing ourselves with laughter. Btw, voted hot. You never know who you might be sat next to.
Never used Uber and never heard of Uberpool? Some kind of taxi service to the swimming baths??
October is widely regarded as one of the best months to go Ibiza if you want a quiet holiday. It's beautiful that time of year and weather is still good enough to catch a tan.
I've been 3 times in May and it has been scorching.
Not half term
We went to San Antonio last October for a short break, 7th to 10th I think and there were a lot of places already closed. I think Cafe Mambo were closing on 14th and they were one of the last, but it depends what you're going for. We went dressed for the cold and it was scorching every day, although the forecast had been for rain that never materialised.
Would anything be open in October
Guess were all different I’d prefer to pay a bit more so its suitcase out the car then your in the airport easer as well when you come back, the park and ride seems such a hassle now feeling happy I’ve plunged for this and hope it helps somebody else :)
Correct, but I was meaning to park the car at Inverkeithing, Livingston, or Perth or where ever is en route to the Airport from your home location.
Afaik you cannot leave a car overnight in the park & ride by the airport
You can leave the car at the Park and Ride and then jump on the bus that takes you right into the airport. I'm sure there is a bus every 30 mins all through the night.
I did think about that then getting a taxi from the hotel but just want an easy start to the holidays if I never had kids in tow I’d be more adventurous haha
Unfortunately it does take time and I have to say at times I pulled my hair out, however in the end if you persevere you will get there. I pay a little bit more than I would like because I don’t like night flights coming back. Just as an example puerto rico hottest part of Gran Canaria during the Easter/ Christmas periods, temperatures between 28 to 31 degrees , ignore the temperature guides on the websites for Puerto Rico it’s definitely better than what they say. We paid £1350 for 7 days. I used holidayextras website to book my parking from East Midlands for £41.00. This was in the airport only 7 minute walk to departures. I also paid for my seats separately so we can all sit together which was an additional cost, but if your children are below a certain age , I think 12 is the default on the booking it costs an additional £8.00 to make sure you are sitting together, that was with Ryanair. But this is all done through on the beach. I know many people don’t like them but I really can’t complain. I normally go all inclusive but decided to go self catering this time and it was far better, not restricted to the restaurant times, boring food and rubbish beer. I will always go self catering from now on and again it’s cheaper. I actually came back with euros which is rare. The luggage allowance with Ryanair is 10 kilos each person . I pay for one hold case and use my 10 kilo allowance for each person. To be honest we don’t need the hold case, the free 10 kilos cases is enough but I just have to pacify my wife, who decides to fill it up with about 15 kilos, which does annoy me because we didn’t really have to pay for it. Especially when we only take 2 of our free 10 kilos. Wheres the sense in that? Anyway hope you find something just keep searching, by the way don’t forgot HolidayPirates , they are also good.
Shame I can’t do this for me and my 2 boys. I’m wanting to take them somewhere warm, near the beach and affordable. Seems so difficult 😞. Any tips?
I have to agree about doing the research , I’ve booked loads of holidays with them, if you read in detail I have found it says you may be moved to another hotel etc so I simply don’t book it. I use a completely different company to book my extras like parking at the airport and taxis from the airport to the resort and back. I use holiday extras because they are cheaper and they give you all the out of hours contact details if there is an issue but have never at to do that yet. I have just come back from Gran Canaria after booking with OTB, went to Greece last year, will be going again this year and will continue to use them. I guess if you are not keen on sorting out issues yourself whilst abroad the companies to use are Thomas Cooke etc because you have rep, but as I’m sure you are aware you pay a lot more for the extra service. I go on more holidays now because I can afford to with OTB.
I’ve booked 4 holidays with them and never had a problem. You obviously didn’t do your research mate
I will never touch OTB. My mum went to turkey with them a few years ago. They changed the date of the return flights without telling her, and when they went to the rep to ask for help he claimed it was nothing to do with him and just ignored them from then on out. Me and my brother had to phone the company from the UK until they agreed to do their job and get them home.
Having a rule were you can take your kids out of school for a holiday once every two years or something would make sense. I've never taken my kids out of school for a holiday... but it would be nice if I could just once without the threat of a fine.
Didn't say i agreed with it, I feel your pain too as I have children. But it's not the fault of the holiday companies. Most big UK holiday companies operate at a loss for their UK operations. Staggering school holidays by region could be one option but that could also cause problems. I hate the fact that shops and restaurants etc whack up their prices in December in the run up to Christmas but again it's supply and demand, nobody is forcing us to buy and pay extra
Yeah think my points gone over your head...
I agree it shouldn’t be driven by money the headteacher doesn’t do the job fo 70k plus a year and the teachers don’t do the job for 43k plus a year and the very generous pension ..........
Shame this has now increased quite alot, i was going to book, damn!
