If people haven't found a reason to buy a Wii U yet they're not looking hard enough. It's a great console with a cracking library of exclusive games. Personally I'm waiting for a reason to buy a PS4 or Xbox One.

Crazy deal, even if you're terrible at spectacle fighters it's still fantastic and the music is insanely good.

If you're a gamer who finds action games like God of War and the like embarrassingly easy and wonder whatever happened to real games with real gameplay? What you do is, you buy this game and let game makers know there are still connoisseur gamers out there.

£20? Absolutely ridiculous. It's the deal of the week.

Brilliant deal! Didnt expect this price so soon.

As another user posted, if anyone's interested, the first Bayonetta is on PSN for a measly £3.29! :)

I have enjoyed playing on the PS4, mainly ports of last years games though, The Last Of Us, Tomb Raider and GTA V I have been playing again.....otherwise it has mainly been indie titles that have been getting a look in...Resogun and Velocity 2X are fantastic titles, I am hoping that this year brings some decent exclusive major developer games though.

On the Wii U front there has been only two games the past year Captain Toad Treasure Tracker and Mario Kart 8 that I have bought, however having only had my Wii U in March last year there has been a wealth of back catalogue titles that have kept me happy. Cannot say after playing the demo I am that impressed with Bayonetta 2 other than the graphics, too much clutter onscreen to even attempt to learn any strategy I find.

After being a games player for the past 30 odd years I am clearly not a connoisseur...after playing the demo I found the screen clutter that much on this to attempt any strategy for bosses, whilst the graphics are beautifully done, the lighting not so, it glares that much I find myself struggling making sense of the action.

True. I got the spec ed for £31.92 via Flubit and I thought that was was a good deal. Wishing I hadn't bothered now as I already own the original.

What's worse is that I only just got it through the post today and 30mins later this deal comes up :(

fantastic gameplay but the lacklustre power of the wii u rears its ugly head here. 720p, no AA and a decent amount of slowdown during hectic scenes, which is like 80% of the game. i know nintendo paid for the game and i'd rather have bayo 2 on wii u than not at all but i wish it had come for xb1, ps4 or better still PC
#33
Awesome. Thanks. Been waiting for this exact offer.
#34
That's an insane price.

These game deals are bankrupting me. Am I missing anything by skipping the original game?

agreed! this for me is the only combo :)

Just caved in. Was gping to hold out for special edition but decided I'm unlikely to play the original.

Story wise? No, not really... depends how pedantic you are. This isn't The Last of Us, this is all about the gameplay... pure, unadulterated, indulgent, gameplay.

Me too. The thing is I really do want to move into the 'next generation', but I just see no reason to. I have a wealth of PS Plus titles to keep me busy on PS3, along with a few Xbox 360 games that I'm yet to get round to (including SSX, which was offered on GWG last month) and a ridiculous Steam back catalogue. The Wii U offers something genuinely different and original to all of those options, whilst in my view the PS4 and Xbox One simply do not. I'm hoping by Christmas this year I have an excuse to buy at least one of them, but at the moment I struggle to make any sort of argument at all other than buying for the sake of buying.
