    i have just purchase this in black and added my bose sub and surround sound from the 300 series and it sounds excellent ,what a upgrade from the 300 this is the business

    I had the precious 800 version for a couple of months. Without the sub it just didn't cut the mustard for movie watching. No soundbar does really.

    For someone who’s been out of the soundbar market for a while, can someone provide some insight? Curious as to whether they do surround sound to a good standard, or are they more about providing quality stereo sound to offer an upgrade to the miserable speakers in flat TVs?

    Let's be realistic here, no soundbar will give you the best Atmos/DTS experience without actually having surround speakers and a sub.
