Some chocs around 30p per 100g (Celebrations Easter mix/Creme egg bars). Not so much for the Maltesers (50p+).

Hopefully they'll reduce the full size eggs too as they were still looking for £1.50 each on Saturday.

Still not that cheap (around £1/100g): large Lindor are £3.75, large Thorntons are £2.50. (edited)

    52581063-1w79L.jpgOk I'm greedy & bought a full box of 28 :-). 140 creme eggs for £17.36

I tried the Oreo variant and thought they were just okay. Is the creme egg better?

I’ve never known Easter chocolate stuff to still be in the shops 2 weeks after!

Same. But its because the prices are ridiculous. This is still £1.25 in ASDA, Lewisham

Anyone know which aisle I'm likely to find all this reduced stuff in?

Such a shame Creme Eggs don't taste like they used to
For those too young to have experienced pre-Kraft Cadbury's chocolate; it used to be silky & smooth, rather than the substandard waxy & claggy stuff they sell now.
    Kraft have ruined it (edited)

Indeed. Has quite a bad after taste now.

Same in Tesco Castlereagh Road. Picked up 6 packs. Giant Lindt Easter Eggs (normally £15) down to £3! Bargain!

Just a warning, they changed the recipe, and these don't taste the same, which is why so many places are struggling to sell them and offering bulk discounts that force you to buy many at once. We hate the new recipe so much we have stopped buying them completely (used to love them and would buy a few packs every year).

Test one for yourself first before bulk buying if you can. (edited)

Yeah, I cant manage the creme eggs anymore. Just seem too sickly sweet for me. Much prefere the caramel egg they also do.

Not a fan of Creme eggs (too sweet) but heat for calling out my local Tesco!
Pity they don't seem to discount the normal Easter Eggs, wonder where they go?
    matthew.haycock's avatar
I do wonder if Tesco have some sort of deal.
With the way they'll discount the bigger eggs in batches over the weeks leading up to easter, I wonder if they then pass them onto smaller stores or something to sell on. I know Tescos owns the 'One Stop' shops, so could be they shift the eggs to places like this, so they can free up space on the regular stores?

Morrisons in Bude are still trying to knock these out at £1.75, and they try to make it sound like they're doing you a favour!

Ha my locals completely sold out of Easter chocolate by Easter Sunday! So got no deals whatsoever.

Tesco Express in Rowley (B65 9AS)
Has the 5-packs of Reece's peanut butter eggs reduced to 75p. Most other easter stock is down to the last few boxes/bags, but seem to be plenty of these left on the shelves.

Tesco Broughton, near Chester, had shelves full
