The Aldi/Lidl Blender will not be as strong as this machine because is has plastic gear connecting the blades to the motor. So long as the Jug is clean before you begin each use and you start the blender on low and increase to max rather than starting on max everything should be fine.
Had the Vitamix for over 8yrs still going strong but whenever the kids have used it we always have to check its not left on the max setting.
As i said for those that found the Vitamix a bit costly this is very similar in design
Probably better to buy the one that Aldi/Lidl sell. This one has no lid interlock!

Out of interest, when is the use by on any packs that people have bought? Most food they commonly sell is usually a month or even a week or two off!
Thats why it's so cheap. And please note It's not a use by date it's a best before date :-) I'm not gonna put em in my cupboard to sit there for 6 months so best before dates don't affect me :)

Check those use by dates people.
Wouldn't surprise me if they went off last year. Heron don't seem phased by the legality behind "best before or use by"
They do not sell anything out of date. They are not allowed to sell anything out of date. If you find anything that is out of date tell the staff and they will immediately take them off the shelf and replace. They do date checks everyday so they should never be missed. Our local never miss them. All herons should be the same. Also they order everyday and there is no way the stock that comes in would be out of date. It's packed and monitored.

Yes, electrolysis is often used. The mig-welding.co.uk forum has lots of info on how to set up an electrolysis bucket to de-rust stuff.

They don't meet HUKD standards of feedback though.

I think this is a fairly common eBay price. I use citric acid to de-rust car parts. Make up a tub of citric acid and boiling water and leave the rusty part in it for a couple of days. Top it up with boiling water occasionally and scrub off the rust every so often with a small wire brush (cheap from pound shops or Tool Station). If you are removing pitted rust from car bodywork some people make up a gel of citric acid and wallpaper paste and cover the rusty area with a 5mm thick layer. Cover with cling film to stop it evaporating. Haven't used it this way myself, but the citric acid in hot water definitely works.

Washing soda and a bit of electrolysis is supposed to be really effective at removing rust:- http://antique-engines.com/electrol.asp

I love how all these claims about nutrition are backed up by scientific evidence and not just based on hearsay and circumstantial evidence [/s]
The truth is, if it says "complete" on the packet, it legally must contain all the organic molecules, vitamins and trace elements needed for a dog to be healthy. The more expensive ones might have added oils, use more expensive protein sources or be more suitable for dogs with specific dietary requirements, but for most dogs, this is absolutely fine. And if you're still worried, just supplement it with some leftovers (being sensible and checking suitability first, obv)
I was thinking the same thing! I nearly commented back at one of the above comments which said they can be almost certain my dog will be deficient in nutrients because I don't buy £40 dog food but I was on my way to work n didn't have time to comment on it. Don't people give their dogs other stuff to eat too like fish and treats and salmon strips and chicken and cooked veg and so on and so on and so on. I know I do. Wagg may not be the greatest food but when used as a mixer with daily treats and additions to their diet what's wrong with that. Our vet thinks our dog is healthy and fine :-)
From the sounds of it, your dog eats better than I do, haha

Shopped for an hour to find things. Got to 60 quid, was happy. Entered code, didnt work, most wasnt desptched by amazon. Still did the order. You got me Amazon, you got me good. I'll go to sleep a defeated man, but tomorrow is another day oO
I use harringtons from Amazon for my lab which is made by Wagg. Harringtons scores 3.0/5 on allaboutdogfood. Wagg complete scores a pitiful 1.3/5.
3.0 out of 5 is actually excellent as many don't make it to 4 unless your spending crazy money. Haven't seen any really over 4

Don't waste your money peeps.
These nothing of a "fad" to eating low carb.

A fad diet to me is something that is not needed to lose weight and lacks in sustainability and is, well, utterly ridiculous -- just like a low carb diet. :)

I have an NUS card.
I can go in with 4 mates, order 5 pizzas, few sides, 10-12 bottles of beer and get 40% off the lot?

from reading the t&cs yes you can :)
As a side note I believe pizza express use halal chicken in their food.

I'm not saying this to cause arguments. Just so people can make an informed choice if they want to eat halal or not.
A bit stingey for a January food offer, why can't they just make it valid for the whole week including Friday and Saturday like last years deals?

Now that would be a Hot deal.

Well, I suppose its an idea. I buy a second fridge, run it and hope that my 59p oranges survive in it for more than 48 hours. After all why should we expect from a retailer a supply of a reasonably fresh fruit and veg. We buy it, we throw it in the bin as its too cheap to return and they are laughing all the way to the bank. A great way of ripping customers off "legally" - impressed with Lidls business sense, who care about their ethics :(

Whaaaat a bargain

Sorry to spoil the party but the quality of the veg that's offered on those half price deals is not as good as when they are full price (at least not in out two local stores). In the past I had bought some sprouts that were rotting in the packet already, shallots that were very "spongy" and wilted and now for half the price I was "lucky" to get half of the pack of oranges - hardly a bargain, bought on Saturday and by lunch Monday that's what they looked like. 8 in a pack of which 4 are going in the bin. What a bargain !! :(
As its not the first time that a bargains are anything but, I though I shall vent out ;-)http://i68.tinypic.com/a29grm.jpg
If you have a fridge that's mostly used for fruit and vegetables and rarely used for meat and milk try setting it to a lower temperature most fruit and vegetables will last longer in a low temperature fridge. Don't try this method if you have meat or milk products in the fridge as they will go off faster.

First time I've seen the "Solevita Coconut Water". What's it like, anyone tried it?
Also, can anyone tell me from the ingredients what percentage is coconut water? Thx
To answer my own question, this stuff is rotten. No ingredients on the box, so who the funk knows what's in it!
Easy there's only 1 single ingredient ''Natural Coconut Water'' ''Never from concentrate'' coconut water nothing added, basically the title is the main ingredient, a lot of fruit drinks not from concentrate don't include ingredient list if there's only 1 type of fruit in the drink.
It's actually quiet nice justy got 2 packs today, not as good as vita Coconut Water which has added sugar.
UFC coconut water has ingredients stated as 100% coconut water, so no doubt what is in it. And it tastes 100 times better than this. Seriously, this muck turned my stomach and I'm not convinced it 100% coconut water. It has the unpleasant taste of unripened banana's.

Thanks - always useful to have a few bottle bags to hand -
I hate when I have to buy one and pay full price - as they can often be £2 - £3....... when you are in a rush and have to get one from the only shop open at the time !!
Plus my kids (grown up) come asking for a spare bottle bag - and always take my nicest ones.
Totally agree! Every single reason you state is exactly the same here, and why I bought them to put away for next year! :)

Alot of the Xmas stock went to 90% off today in the Co-op. Might be worth checking if your local store has any stock left over and haven't changed the shelf prices yet ;)

Not much left at mine - got the KP Nuts scanned as still showing with a marginal reduction ie £2.10 - they were still £2.10 :(

The cover of that book looks like a blatant copy of the Hairy Bikers books!

Just an observation not a criticism of the deal.

Probably, they are apparently the No1 chefs in Ireland :)
