I went to Toys R Us this morning but they didn't have any, apparently they hadn't been sent today's boxes, but they'd have them the rest of the week. They did give me a little flyer that said that if your store has run out, you can send for them in the post. Apparently all of them can be sent together

Then you're daft, £4 of Lego for a 50p paper you don't have to read. You may be young now and feel the DM is full of rabid hate, but you'll get older and be comforted that it thinks like you do. May as well get in early.

My parents used to be liberal until they started getting the DM for costume drama DVD's. When it finished, they continued to get it because it had a good TV bit on a Saturday and a good money bit on a Wednesday, they then got sent vouchers and Waitrose let them get a free paper. It didn't take long until they were telling me that if I was an immigrant with 6 kids the government would buy me a mansion.

You really cannot fight it, you may as well get a Lego turtle as part of the deal

Not this Lego/Shell crap again from the tree huggers at Greepeace? They haven't had a proper Shell tie-in for a number of years and their factories are up there with the most eco-friendly companies around.

They use a lot of plastic and rubber, I guess Lego made out of sustainabley sourced wood wouldn't be as much fun or practical!

Good offer from a paper that is a hornets nest of bigotry readership. Just go and read their average comments sections, full of revolting and bigoted peasants.

Lego is the worlds largest producer of tyres did you know?

my kids playing with some Lego I had 30 years ago, we recently chucked some 2 year old toys that had broken with sharp edges etc, if a toy with a 30+ year lifespan is not eco friendly I dont know what is!!!

Why does it never include any lego friends or princess type stuff?

because its not proper Lego no matter what the packaging says!

Vic's the women who took mine said one per voucher because I have two kids she said there is no maximum and looking on eBay seems people got ten+ just to sell

Some people are just plain selfish! My little boy has just been bought several big Lego City sets for his birthday, so I won't bother getting any more of the free ones now as he has plenty. We only got the first days one, but we'll leave the rest for other kids. Shame so many people are plain greedy and only look out for themselves.

They have now got 2 boxes of todays set up for sale
    ebay.co.uk/itm…8f1

These are promotional items so I'm not sure how they got hold of them. Something fishy going on there.
  37. KongDonkey's avatar
Look at the sellers completed auctions. They have been flogging loads of boxes of these all week at £120 each.

This is the WH Smith near to the sellers home address

    Telephone 01376 550282

    19 George Yard
    Braintree
    Essex
    CM7 1RB
    United Kingdom

Maybe ring WH Smith Head Office in Swindon (01793 616161) and see how many boxes are going to the Braintree store and are they all being accounted for.
At the end of the day there are some disappointed children out there as stocks have run out and someone else is cashing in on this.
  38. thisisnotmyname's avatar
    TheUmpteenth

can't believe I missed the first two!, They were the best ones!

I have a spare one (first day) if you want it? Picked it up for my Nephew, but someone else got him one.
  39. zombrex's avatar
ah my little un would have loved these , whoever expired this wants banned from the site
  40. deleted364133's avatar
That is really scummy, that might mean 50 kids not getting their lego for each of those eBay listings. The fact that it's a full box means that either its staff or courier, or a WHSmith let someone buy 50 papers (not very likely).. How nasty.
