Never found a decent money budget app tbh so have used an excel spreadsheet for years.

I need to log multi-currenies expenses and I have been using "Ahorro" for years after comparing with different apps. However, it's no longer available for download on app store but I still have it running on my phone.

Nothing - but nothing - beats Microsoft Money. And it's not sending highly personal financial information anywhere either, like this sort of app.

Completely agree.... MS Money is the best financial software out there...

Don't need an app to manage money. Easily manage it in your head.

Your finances must be terribly easy. I have a Mac with Parallels purely to run MS Money. Everything goes on it. I would love to find a replacement as it's on accessible on one machine and I could do with it across my devices.

Thanks, but so far nobody’s managed to find anything remotely as good as MM, and it’s been discussed ad infinitum on various forums for years.

We all live in fear of the Windows update that will finally render it unusable, and most of us have got years and years of data stored. Like to know what I paid for a PC with a massive 6GB hard drive in 1999?

Any similar apps that require one off payment or free that are cross compatible with iOS and Android…and good of course? (Not looking for monthly subscription)

I'd recommend Snoop. There are a few extra features behind a paywall but the free version was plenty good for me to get a clear view of my spending
