Thanks - voucher worked at Tesco.
Didn't scan clubcard to reduce the price, just in case that messed with the voucher.
Used a bit of cardboard to push down into the voucher slot & remove the 'Call for assistance ' nag screen pop-up.
Then went back & got some more, before the countdown expired.

You were right about not working after scanning clubcard

I can confirm it worked at 11.45am in Tesco Extra. I used the self service till, I didn't scan my Clubcard. It has to be the PLANT based version of Chocomel.

Fyi it doesn't work if you scan your clubcard. Had to delete the item and do it in a separate transaction.

It's  £2.50 with clubcard but the voucher is a higher value £3? So will it deduct 50p difference from the rest of your shopping?
    dav31's avatar
Apparently from the other comments it doesn't scan at all if you use a clubcard.

Happy days! Picked up in Tescos today

Might be plant based but it's anything but healthy

Why is it always on the Plant Based posts that people suddenly become aware that certain foods are not always healthy. But you never see posts on meat based products mentioning that several meats are listed in the same carcinogen category as cigarettes.
Any type of food can be unhealthy depending on the ingredients, but generally the plant based foods are healthier than the meat/dairy based equivalent.

I'm always suspicious of companies asking for SMS as a requirement to participate in a promotion, rather than email.

Costs them money to send, SMS can only have limited characters so term and conditions need to be served via a web link anyway.

    But I snooze I lose.

I assume they don't want you to use generated e-mail addresses to claim more than once. With a number you can but it's more difficult

I got the normal version of this in a Triyit box and it was probably one of the worse chocolate milks I've had.

Maybe this is better because it's vegan.

    Heat for the freebie.

    Doesn't work online.

Bit of a pain via Asda having to send copy of receipt for cash back?
    Uumode's avatar
Very odd arrangement for this freebie promotion.

What's the point of obtaining a redeemable coupon if you need to submit a receipt to claim it?

It worked twice for me this morning. Thanks OP

I recommend checking the participating store list first

the (large) asda I went too was not on the list

I didnt realise there was an option for an instant voucher so paid for the (expensive) drink then uploaded the receipt to get the "cashback" only to find it got rejected as the asda store was not included

really annoying as the drink was both expensive & didnt taste very nice

Nice post op, late to the party but managed to grab a coupon !
  21. ngroce841's avatar
Anyone tried it? Plant based puts me off..
    bayhabourbutcher's avatar
its doesnt taste that nice IMO - far too much added sugar / sweetner & consistency is too thick - kids might like it (edited)

Saw it was SMS sign-up. Fortunately I have an old Lebara sim I can use, as I don't want them having my personal number. Nothing in life is free. (edited)
    BlazingfireZ101's avatar
Much bigger fish to fry than this, the only thing not "free" about this is chocomel hoping you will taste it, like it, and buy many more in the future. But i understand the concern. (edited)
  24. bayhabourbutcher's avatar
if I recall correctly from previous promotions having the text does not mean the voucher will work - there will be a set number of redemptions after which the offer stops working
  25. KewlGuy's avatar
Voucher never worked even without the clubcard maybe fully redeemed
  26. lasuil's avatar
Couldn't find this in stock as Plymouth Asda
  27. dav31's avatar
Worked for me scanned separately without clubcard

I tryed yesterdaty at tesco Kennington. At the till I was told they do not take moving barcodes. I tried to make him understand it was legit but he refused to scan it.

    What a waste of time.
    bayhabourbutcher's avatar
how did you get a moving barcode ?

only option I could see (I was rushed) was claim cashback via receipt ?

IMO the drink is ridiculously expensive for what is is & doesnt even taste that nice (edited)
  29. ciaravella's avatar
Don’t scan your Clubcard as it doesn’t work with Clubcard but worked otherwise

Fake offer. Nowhere has any stock

Looking at the ingredient list, I am not sure if this adds any value to our body ?

Got one from my nearby tesco. The protein content is surprisingly low for the 1L carton. (1.8g per 100ml.). The other sized versions are more like normal milk (3.2g). (edited)
  33. muziboy's avatar
Got it in nearby Tesco (edited)
  34. bayhabourbutcher's avatar
local tesco superstore (on the participation list) only stocked the 750ml cartons & coupon wont work on that one - useless deal for me (edited)
  35. imsan's avatar
I got one at Asda. As it is cashback, I paid for that when I checked out. Then, I uploaded the receipt as requested, but never received any text message to tell me how to get the money back after that.
