    I wasn’t eligible but after a two minute chat with a customer service associate they gave me the offer, as they always end up doing if you’re a regular customer who has been using them for years. Sending my old Echo Dot back for an additional £5 off too. Not bad for under £20!

    no, pop is replacing echo dot 3rd gen. pop will be their low entry model going forward. echo dot 5th is still superior with presence sensing, better audio quality and wifi mesh.

    Anyone else find these Alexa devices have become seriously buggy over the last couple of years or so? Multi room music seems to be a complete mess these days for me and my girlfriends Alexa seems to always stop playing on its own after about an hour or so and you have to turn it off at the wall to reboot.

    I still like these devices overall but they can be very irritating at times.

    How much better is the sound quality vs 3rd gen? And is this still very directional? I've got an echo dot in every room but mainly only use the one in the kitchen for music and timers
