Its been much cheaper. maybe its worth holding on a little longer to see if it does drop or find a cheaper alternative.

These are pretty good. Have 1 for a few years and bought another 2 last October when a deal came on. Does a good job.

Coil whine is a bit much. Aside from that it's very good. Just loud too

    Agree

Are these Tower fans better than the chrome pedestal floor fans ?
I've had the pedestal fans for years and they give out a good breeze

I've got 3 of these pretty decent

First, this is less of a bargain that it appears. It's not much more on B&Q - a classic case of Amazon overpricing then marking down. No, I can't find it cheaper (so hot) but still not a great reduction.

Reviews are good, BUT noisy. So, probably excellent if sleep and noise isn't an issue for you. expertreviews.co.uk/hon…ful

Personally, I'm looking for something a bit quieter.

Is this really only 40cm tall??

The values stated by Amazon are in inches, not cm. Mine is 104 cm tall

I bought one of those but now considering the Phillips 5000 Tower Fan. It's about £25 more but looks more modern and stylish.

Other people have said there is a design floor too with the base and it will snap at some point. (edited)

Great fan, I had it previosuly lasted about 5 years. Bought 2 new units last year when it was on sale. Great product. Flow is much better on this unit than its successor.
