No need for a debate on iD Mobile signal wherever you live or work - this is purely on price, and I think it's unbeatable.

25GB of data (with rollover).

Unlimited minutes.

Unlimited texts.

No annual price rises.

12 month contract.

£6 a month.

EU (and certain other non-EU) roaming included up to 30GB.

If 25GB of data a month is sufficient for your needs, I honestly don't think there's better value for money out there than this. Happy to be corrected.

I've been with iD Mobile for several years and have no complaints.

£15 Topcashback available at time of posting.

You say there's no need for a debate on the signal as it's purely on price - surely it's a bad deal if you can't get a signal or it constantly goes slower during peak periods ?
Not everyone lives in an area of perfect reception for every company, and the online charts showing quality of reception are not always accurate.
I'm thinking of people who are considering using ID for the first time and might be tied to a 12 month contract which is a waste of their money - I got conned in the past so I just like to point out that everyone should check reception first with a cheap one month sim before getting into a contract no matter how good a deal it is

Any deal is a bad deal if you can't get a signal or decent speed of course. Regardless of network. This deal is about the price and value for money.

Yep - get a free or very cheap PAYG sim on Three if you are in any doubt about signal strength where you live or work by all means.

Ceteris paribus - this deal is unbeatable for this amount of data,. rollover, roaming etc.

What happens after 12 months? Will the price go up?

It will stay at £6 a month and be a rolling monthly contract.

The rollover (presuming this deal has that) a great boon plus never had a price increase in the two years been with them.

great price, no issues with signal in my area Gtr Manchester (Salford/Bolton/Worsley) In my experience much better coverage than Vodafone/O2/EE

Agree...I'm in Radcliffe and never had any issues with 5g most of the time 🏻

Brilliant deal! I'd switch my kids from O2 if iD was on Airtime. I'm with iD and have zero complaints too 👌🏻 (edited)

As an existing customer with multiple plans:

On my £5 2.5GB plan I can see this offer 25GB for £6.
    However on my £7 20GB plan, I only get offered 25GB for £7 or 10GB for £6!

This is via 'upgrade' rather than 'change plans'. Change plans are all bad deals.

Depends what you're in the market for and hoops you're prepared to jump through I guess. This screenshot is a redemption deal, it's a 24 month contract and the ongoing price is £7 at the end. Also says it's subject to inflation +3.9% annual increase (I don't know if that's actually the case, as it's a SIM only deal going through mobiles.co.uk).

The deal in this post is direct with iD, £6 a month, that's what you pay for 12 months and what it continues to be at the end of the contract, no hoops to jump through. If 25 GB meets your needs of course. (edited)

If you only need 20GB then this is a better deal via MSE. 3 months half price and £30 voucher

Noted - but the ongoing price after initial promotion is £7 a month rather than £6. Depends on how long you're planning to stay on the contract I guess.

I have this deal but the signal isn't great where I am and it wasn't great in Manchester but it was good in Birmingham and Middlesbrough, still heat for price.

Good deal with data rollover and pricecap

I upgraded my existing 30 day SIM only contract from the app last night, as well as taking out an additional new deal on the iD Mobile website.

To the people who live around Greater Manchester thinking about switching to ID, don't bother.

The signal is patchy and extremely poor. Don't trust their network checker as it's not truthful.

Also, if you have any problems, you have got to chat online or use their horrible app.

ETA - I have attached a map showing ID's poor network coverage in Manchester

Data performance has been absolutely atrocious in Newcastle city centre on ID/three for years, full signal but absolutely no data. Can't even use WhatsApp to send/receive messages.

Can't wait until my 18/24 month contract is over.

I'd stay clear - data is awful even with full signal, including in many parts of London
  21. ken.feng's avatar
Yes I have experienced the same, slow 4g speed, but if you can get 5g signal then its not too bad!
  22. C-M's avatar
I've not had any issues with iD, but maybe the coverage is better where I am. I often get 5G and a decent signal. I tried TalkHome, which uses EE's network and noticed it was pretty much the same.

It's deffo still available on the iD Mobile website for new customers - have you scrolled down past the 10GB for £6 that you've put in the screenshot?
