the euro version is the exact same version as the uk, same disc, same box, etc and only £63.62 using today's euro rate on amazon.de

This trend of expensive game accessories with further high priced add-ons for extra gaming content should be banned. Having to buy a physical item to unlock an in-game feature, what a total con. Probably thought up by the same person that came up with 3D TVs and other recent fads to charge consumers more.

I was quite intrigued when I saw this on the TV originally but then I saw the pricing and how dynamic and creative the lego building feature is and it's just a total scam really.

Buy the extra packs on amazon.de, they are currently about £17 each for level packs, £14 for team packs and the fun packs are £10.

Heat but this is still way more than I'm prepared to pay for it, my kids will have to wait.

This whole thing is such money grab like disney infinity and skylanders. Your going to spend hundreds and hundreds over the next few years for minifigs which should cost a couple of quid.

it's like buying a incomplete game and buying extra levels and characters, gaming is getting too expensive, put.me off buying a ps4 since it wasn't backward compatible.

starts to look ugly under the TV with ps3, ps4 etc, Sony missed a huge deal here as people want the option to use their other games and hardware on it.

my gaming ended with ps3, not prepares to buy everything again and at higher price point

So what? You can argue that point for anything collecting coins, stamps, 8 bit computers.

As long as it's something that will be appreciated then it's a case of cost benefit analysis. I'm sure the kids will love it and they can save pocket money up plus relatives can buy them bits for presents too.

It's all a bit of fun isn't it

Gaming isn't really getting much more expensive tho games generally can be had for between £30-40 which is where they've been for years. Don't really get the backwards comp bitching you've presumably got your prev gen console & the games so play on that lol
