I've just popped in to the asda store down sealand road in chester and found this lego ecto 1 car from ghostbusters for £20, I know it's a great price so I got one. There's about 10 left on a shelf in the upstairs bit if anyone is interested

yeah i bought it thinking it would increase in value since its supposed to be rare but has actually decreased, you would be better off buying delorean back to the future that would have been same rrp. its now over £130

Wow on the price. Never had them at my local store, and all the Lego that they do stock seems to be full price for half term. Looks like they are clearing out ecto-1 ready for the new set.

Why not build it then use it to travel back in time to before you built it. Then you'd have 3 DeLoreans. Things could get messy as there would be two of you too. Think there are some time travel rules about that

The lego back to the future set was as low as £12 in Tesco prior to it being discontinued. Expect the Ghostbusters set to increase in value once lego have retired it.
