Voted hot as it is a good price. I like marmite but I prefer the Tesco/Asda own label yeast extract.

Dunno why cold. About half the original price, and a lovely jar for the sad Marmite jar collector (ie, me). Got heat from me.

It is a good price, just a shame B&M can be unpredictable, some stores have stuff others don't. They seem to buy up overstocks or something so products vary from week to week.

Why oh why do people vote cold ( or hot for that matter) because they personally don't (or do) like a product?

Isn't the whole point of this site, of voting whether something is a good price/deal?!!

Emphasis placed on the price/deal !!

Love marmite but these "special editions" taste like sh*te - case in question being the Champagne version they did for Valentine's Day a few years back!

so rather than "these special editions" you mean THE special edition that you tried that you personally didn't like. Seeing as this isn't the champagne one, my guess would be it will taste different.

Bizarre when you actually ask people who say "I hate Marmite" when they last tried it. Many havent even tasted it and some tried it when they were kids and hated it because their friends turned their nose up at it. Most people have never even tried it!

I bought a jar about 3 weeks ago from B&M in Longton Stoke-on-Trent.

It's just normal lovely marmite really........but cheaper!

    The food of kings!

You might have a fight on your hands - but I am also perfectly happy with the own-brand versions which are much cheaper than Marmite normally.

I enjoyed the Champagne edition; would love to try this too if only there was a B&M store nearby!

Its a bit like that marmite XO - doesnt taste significantly different but has a premium on the price (until the supermarkets can't sell it and it goes to the likes of BM). As for love/hate - love but not too thickly spread!
