About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
I have been watching Mauritius prices for a few weeks now and have not been able to find any under £1,000. If anyone else out there can find an all inclusive break less than this please be fair and share, its a pretty expensive destination
There are a few dates to choose from at Similiar prices so be sure to check through from your Local Departure airports too in May and June eg:
22nd June flying from Gatwick
11th May flying from Gatwick
Ignore the first price you see when you first follow the link, it drops in price slightly when you go through the booking process.
These prices are based on 1 weeks stay at the 4* Star Blumarinie Attitude which is rated 4/5 on Trip Advisor. These are First choice holidays however booked via Holiday Hypermarket you can shave some off the price.
For slightly more you can upgrade to the amazing 5* Star Lux Grand Guabe which is provided by Thomson.
Mauritius is a fascinating, world-in-one-island slice of paradise. Its very name of conjures up images of tropical luxury and stupendous extravagance. While in many destinations famed for cobalt-blue seas, white sandy beaches and luxury hotels, you may eventually find yourself wishing for something to do besides sunbathing and swimming, it’s often hard to know what to do next in Mauritius. The island is loaded with historic sights, cultural diversity, geographic variation and almost limitless activities to distract you from the daily grind of beach and pool. But perhaps its single biggest asset is the relaxed charm of its warm and welcoming people.
Mauritius is the most developed of the Mascarene Islands, but with a bit of effort and resourcefulness you can escape the crowds and find your own patch. The smells, noises and bustle of the mercantile capital Port Louis, Africa’s wealthiest city, are never far away, while the busy garment markets in the Central Plateau towns of Quatre Bornes and Curepipe and Black River Gorges National Park's dramatic virgin forests give the lie to Mauritius being just another beach destination. But what beaches! From the stunning sand-rimmed lagoons and popular wide public beaches to the picturesque islands off the country’s coastline, there’s truly something for everyone here. Add to this the joys of Chinese, Indian, French and African cuisine, the rousing beat of séga music and the infectious party spirit of the locals, and you soon understand why Mauritius really is so many people’s idea of paradise on earth.

sorted byAnyway, unimportant niggle, another great deal Stacey! Hot.
Just did a bit more digging as I was curious and have been overwater bungalow honeymoon shopping for two years now and I can confirm that the top picture is The Maldives, the second is The St Regis in Bora Bora, the third is a generic HD Desktop photo, probably of the Maldives. The last one is from The Residence in.... Mauritius!!! That Bora Bora picture gets used even by semi official Mauritius tourist websites. How cheeky. I know I am being ****, but don't want anyone being misled ;o)
It doesn't need to use fake photos, it's meant to be beautiful in its own right so I have been told.

doubt it, prices didnt drop in Tenerife when a lady got their head chopped off, and Im not seeing any drop in India prices despite a lady getting raped and murdered there in the last wee or even cottages in wales since that pregnant lady got raped and murdered a couple of years back xxx
Daily Mail Story?
Thats all I have ever heard people say about the place hence why its been my little project for so long xx
Pseudo HDR,over saturated pictures .BTW Place is very beautiful
That's NOT Mauritius! More like French Polynesia.
flights can be picked up on Thomas Cook as late deals for around £500-£600 but then to find some decent accommodation, luggage, transfers etc again its well in excess of this Unless of course you do one of these hotels for a couple of quid business.
Thanks again xx
Snap.
Sit on a beach, get bored.
That's what bothers me too. It looks beautiful, but I'm not a scuba diver, what do you do every day. I'm on my own with my son, we like beaches, but we want to play, dig, laugh, without trespassing on others.... Heat though Stacey, great find!

+1 - the year i went it chucked it down every day and there was next to nothing to do, i certainly wouldnt go back
Great price, well spotted - Heat!
Mauritius is not boring and there's plenty to do - people are friendly and food is cheap outside of the hotels. The beaches are never packed as the locals don't appear to appreciate the beauty. The sea will be cold as this time of year. If you want peace and quiet, I would suggest the Seychelles which is two hours away.
This is cheap for a holiday in Mauritius... the cheapest flights alone are around £800pp (depending on where/how you fly there) and the hotels are notoriously outstanding.
The picture with the two small islands doesn't look like Mauritius. The picture with the parasol looks like Mauritius.

Unfortunately, there are many Mauritius websites using photos of Bora Bora and The Maldives, so when you Google search Mauritius, they're the results you get. So you can't really blame Deallady.
Lesson of the day... Google is a dirty little liar sometimes ;o)
How does one go about looking into deals with these? Is there a good website that you are aware of?
that'll get extra custom *droooool*
