Once considered a military hero of the planet Krypton, General Dru-Zod decided he would rather rule his world than serve it. He launched a failed coup, after which he was exiled to the prison dimension known as the Phantom Zone. Soon after, Krypton exploded and the years flew by, but General Zod remained safe in the Phantom Zone without aging. Over the years, he’s escaped time and time again, and used his Kryptonian powers. All the while declaring that his enemy Superman will kneel before Zod!




The bandage-wrapped Hush is perhaps the closest to Bruce Wayne of all Batman’s enemies. Young Tommy Elliot was a childhood friend of Wayne, who also grew up in wealth and privilege. However, Tommy soon became deeply jealous and resented Bruce once his parents were tragically killed—seeing Bruce as getting the independence and wealth Tommy so desperately desired. Eventually becoming a surgeon, Tommy's resentment for Bruce continued to fester and grow over the years. When The Riddler discovered that Bruce is really Batman, he approached Dr. Elliot with the secret. But, when the two realized they shared a hatred for Wayne, they joined forces. Wrapping his face in bandages to hide his identity, Elliot manipulated many of Batman's greatest Super-Villains in a grand conspiracy to defeat him—hence, his chosen identity of “Hush.”

Sent to Earth from the dying planet of Krypton as a baby, Kal-L was found by farmers, Martha and Jonathan Kent, and raised as their son, Clark. As Clark grew up, the radiation from Earth's yellow sun gave him enhanced senses and extraordinary powers. Once fully grown, he used his powers to protect his adopted world as Superman.

After his death in Infinite Crisis, the Superman of Earth-2 is revived by a Black Lantern Ring and attacks the Superman of Earth-1 and Superboy (Conner Kent) in Smallville.
