The long-awaited T-Touch Connect Solar comes from a long line of tactile watches, namely the successive generations of T-Touch since 1999. As a connected watch it is ahead of its time, just like 2004’s High-T, created in association with Microsoft.

  • Lightweight titanium case with an extremely scratch-resistant ceramic bezel.
  • Water-resistant to 100 metres, so is perfect not only for everyday wear, but also swimming and water sports
  • Powered by solar energy, it is able to run almost indefinitely in connected mode, and for several months depending on its usage and exposure to the sun
  • Compatible with iOS, Android and Harmony mobile operating systems

IMO these are really nice looking watches, with fantastic battery life - I’ve had mine 6 months and love it, not once needed to charge it either from the mains.

The best bits for me is the balance between smart and classic watch looks with just the right amount of smart functionality- ie step counter, phone / notification alerts etc, again all really impressive for a watch with great battery.

The only downside is the app, although I will say for me using an iPhone it’s been absolutely fine but a lot of reports of problems across both Apple and Android.

I’d also recommend checking out CEX which is where I got mine from for £400, grade A so as good as new just didn’t come in the box. I’ve also upgraded the strap as personally don’t like the rubber look.

    Hope this review helps!

Where is the evidence that the next cheapest price (or even its RRP) is £1000?

I was in multiple jewellers in Glasgow last Sunday looking at Hamilton watches. I was considering Tissot as an alternative since I don't already have either of these brands.
The only Tissot I tried on was the bracelet version of this watch in Beaverbrooks. It was about £1000, maybe a few pounds more. They offered me a 20% discount on the day but I decided to leave it.
I didn't take a photo to prove the £1000 price tag, nor ask the sales assistant for proof of the offered discount. But even at 20% less, it would still have been more than this offer. Hence my rationale for believing this to be a good deal.

Looks nice, best of both worlds, like the compass feature where it uses the dials and moves around freely.

I doubt these hold their value well , not exactly a collectors ?

What is the re-sale value of these watches ?

Same as every consumer item I guess. Put your money in an ETF if you're looking for an investment.

How is this a Deal and not just an advert for an expensive watch?
    Baz9524's avatar
Because it normally retails around £1000. So when it's available for £700 it's a good deal.
